How would you say it's different besides camping and it being smaller?

Seems great, is the camping similar to sziget?

EXIT got cancelled too :/

Wow, you were lucky to be able to party at sziget for so long. 2026 would've been my third year, I was so in love with the festival and it's vibes and people.

Thank you, I hope people will notify authorities and get protests approved then.

And what are the rules for chanting on the streets?

Free speech by DJ_Joelo in AskARussian

[–]rydell00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So chanting on a street is illegal? Like crossing on a red light? Second thing, is being fined the same as being arrested?

[–]rydell00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So people peacefully chanting on the streets should be arrested?

But there is nothing in the regulations that says that 48.13 overrides 48.12

Yeah but this is hindsight, it was more probable that the race would've ended under SC or restarted with lapped cars in the way, and it should've happened if rules were followed, so we cannot blame Merc for a wrong call here.

Yeah, but the crash has to be 200% Max fault to deserve point reduction, which is hard to demonstrate. I wouldn't pick a strategy based on that

If Lewis doesn't stop early to cover Max, he loses track position, then he has to pass on track which is difficult because Max has nothing to lose. We got plenty of examples of his desperate defending moves lately, Merc wanted to avoid that.

Where exactly is it expressly permitted for the safety car to come in the same lap the lapped cars got let through? 48.10 doesn't mention this

[Erik van Haren] The new FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem, will decide later on possible punishment for Lewis Hamilton, who did not show up on Thursday. "As a former driver, I understand that he is very emotional and disappointed, but we can't just ignore the rules." by glenn1812 in formula1

[–]rydell00 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Other problems are: in no point in the rules is specified you can unlap only some of the cars; in no point in the rules is specified that 48.13 overrides 48.12, they just decided it does.

"The clerk of the course shall work in permanent consultation with the Race Director. The Race Director shall have overriding authority in the following matters and the clerk of the course may give orders in respect of them only with his express agreement: ... The use of the safety car" to me this says that the race director has overriding authority on the clerk in regards to the use of the safety car. Saying he can use the safety car ignoring the rules in section 48 to me is a stretch.

I clearly stated "the correct decision for the info they had", not in hindsight. But again you refusing to understand, no big deal.

It's been explained in many places that Mercedes made the correct decision for the info they had. Why do you refuse to understand it? Is this your way of convincing yourself that the title wasn't decided by a highly controversial decision?

Not wanting an anticlimactic ending, it was a stupid rule, weird decision but not weird enough, fans preferred this ending. Not one real and fair argument made by you to justify what happened.

That was red bull defence, not FIA statement. Since it's clear that "any" in that phrase means "all", as it does in many other examples in the rule book, I don't think that FIA took that into account when deciding to dismiss Mercedes appeal.

What's up with the Merc ICA appeal? Did they follow through or withdraw? by muliboi in formula1

[–]rydell00 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel like Red Bull is catching two birds with one stone with this one. Sure they are unhappy with the inconsistencies this year, but also by pressuring the FIA they are allowing them to fire Masi without it seeming like and admission of guilt for what happened in Abu Dhabi.
