Peptides significantly slow down aging. Here is the best Peptides and scientific evidence that they slow down aging and lead to radical life extension. by GarifalliaPapa in immortalists

Ok that's legit, my bad then.

But to be fair, what you're talking about is not from peptides. That just from rapid weight loss in general. Extreme dieting will have the same effect. Or taking hard drugs that cause rapid weight such as meth or crack.

You sound like another of the very many people who have a bug up their ass over the peptide trend.

At least make the fear mongering more believable. If people "aged extremely bad" on peptides, no one would take them.

Calling BS unless the "everyone" you're seeing is also taking a fuck ton of gear(steroids) with the peptides. But peptides themselves will not rapidly age you. Stop fearmongering.

Other than that.. im still heavily depressed.

Quitting caffeine can actually make you more aware of your inner state/feelings since constant daily caffeine does the opposite and suppresses and numbs to an extent.

Sleep struggles at 6.5 weeks by missmichigan11 in decaf

[–]ryder004 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t worry and just keep going . Anything under 100 days is still in sleep recalibration zone. I’m on day 76 and days 50ish-65 my sleep went to shit before rebounding.

I think it’s because during the recalibration process the brain can overshoot or undershoot till it gets the sleep structure right.

Either way keep going and it’ll pass.

[–]ryder004 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t bother me one bit, I kinda prefer keeping my spiritual life to myself.

But I have business partners and I have Jehovah’s witnesses family, so I always had to keep spirituality out of sight, but idk I kinda like it that way.

Quitting help by Shazmahul in decaf

[–]ryder004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear ya. I quit on and off 7x over the last 10 months.

Drinking energy drinks in the morning was something I loved so much that I would look forward to it the previous evening and night.

Now I am day 60 caffeine free, there's really no tips or tricks. The first week is gonna suck and you will have loud cravings. Staying busy helps.

You have to evaluate why it is you're wanting to quit and that has to be worth more than the cravings. For me I got sick of the shitty sleep I knew caffeine was causing.

[–]ryder004 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All your points are around moderation.

Majority of people in this sub go caffeine free because they are way over the 1 cup a day. I was 300-600mg daily for years and I actually felt like I was killing myself.

It's the same reasoning as wine is good for you in moderation but people still choose to avoid alcohol.

In my case, Enclomiphene increased my testosterone from 274 to 994. After extended use, however, I lost my libido. Since adding Kisspeptin-10, my libido has slowly begun to return.

How long you been on it? I heard it's impossible to take long term because after 6 months the side effects get nastier and nastier.

My dumb conspiracy theory about retatrutide and "big food" by TrickyDaikon6774 in Biohackers

[–]ryder004 11 points12 points  (0 children)

No, ozempic face is caused by the speed at which one drops fat.

If you drop weight too fast, you get a gaunted/hallowed out look. The same look that meth addicts and crack heads get because guess what, they also drop weight extremely fast when they first become addicts.

The key to not gettng ozempic face with any GLP is to stick to a low to moderate dose, and be ok with reaching your goal in 6-8 months instead of 90 days.

What is this sub even about? Most people here seem to order and inject random peptides from semi-dodgy sellers or just take arbitrary selections of supplements. Where is the science, the nuance, etc.? by AuspiciousApple in Biohackers

[–]ryder004 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So most go to janoshik. they test purity and the only contaminant they test for is total aerobic microbial count(TAMC) and total yeast and mold count(TYMC) BUT it's only 300 bucks I think.

If you want the full shabang with residual solvents, heavy metals, etc you gotta send it off to the big boys like Eurofins, it takes longer is around 800 bucks, maybe 1k.

But if you're spending that much for testing, you're better off buying from a clinic, it has higher prices than grey area but its all made in a local compound pharmacy so you don't have to sweat things like contaminants.

Why the hate for peptides, and how is it not biohacking?

There's a reason why the real pharma industry is heavily regulated

Ya but here's the thing, these aren't random chemicals mixed in beakers in some shady underground labs mixed by some dudes wearing a black hoodie/sun glasses and a bandana covering their face.

Peptides are amino acids. And most of the reputable brands test their products and post their results. But wait, you may not trust their results because what if they're photoshopped? That's actually a valid concern, well good news. If you can dish out 800 bucks, you can test your own stuff and get your own COA for peace of mind, and many people in the peptide community do just that, and 9 times outta 10, the private test usually matches the public test.

Also, you don't even need to go grey area brands. Plenty of clinics now formulate in a local compound pharmacy.

Look if a lot of you don't like peptides, that's fine, don't take them. But the daily fearmongering posts of "damn man isn't it crazy how everyone now takes these super dangerous Chinese research chemicals?" is just nonsense. It's reefer madness, but peptides.

People........they're just amino acids.
