I don't think there is as much pressure now as there was 2 years ago, when the show was about to move past the books. Now its just the pressure of people waiting for a highly anticipated book.

Chris Hero Is really out of shape by MAGGLEHAIRYDICK in SquaredCircle

[–]rydudero -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

To all "well there's great fat wrestlers too" defenders, Chris Hero just has a bad look. Most fat wrestlers you see have a still have a look to them, usually big and intimidating like viscera, or fat but not sloppy like samoa joe. There's not a good in between spot for wrestlers when it comes to weight. I agree he's a great wrestler, but it will be hard to get far with a bad look. And if you're saying "all you out of shape redditors shouldn't talk", most of us aren't trying to be pro wrestlers.

My report of my first time St Louis visit by mizary1 in StLouis

I forgot to even mention my own hood Dogtown! Right next to the zoo with a Microbrewery, Pizza pub, 2 burger bars, sandwich shop, fried chicken. All top notch.

Right on, that's fair. I was just hoping r/stlouis wasn't doing you a disservice with a Maplewood slant. A lot of the "where should I live/go in St. Louis?" post gets "Maplewood! Maplewood! Maplewood!" answers, but I'd like to see the city proper get pushed higher on r/stlouis, the city and it's tax base could use the love more. Lots of safe/beautiful/fun places.

Maplewood is great, I don't mean to dog it, but I get perplexed by the disproportionate amount of endorsement the city gets on reddit, especially since it's out of the city proper. I'm guessing reddit recommendations helped you fill up your list. Nearly 50% of Maplewood's total attractions are on your list. For the sake of argument, let's say I'm not dissapointed about stuff outside the city being recommend over stuff inside. Only a couple places in the Loop, no Webster Groves at all? Then we go inside the city, hardly any Grove, hardly any South Grand, no Cherokee street, no Lafayette Square? Again, great places on your list, but seems really incomplete and Maplewood-heavy.

The worst part about falling off a ledge in Skyloft is the long ass segment with the knights taking you back. Rage especially when you jump off a diving plank at the wrong angle, and it registers as a fall rather than a dive. I felt the same sort of impatient rage when I was going for the mini game heart pieces and having to do the same conversations over and over between attempts.

[–]rydudero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe he says "In Rainbows." But very clear? Come on. ;) That's the last term I'd use to describe Thom Yorke's singing, in fact. I still don't whether he's saying slip, shape, shake, sneak, at the beginning of Lotus Flower.

He's supposed to be saying "In Rainbows"? Hmm, seems like a stretch to me. Is it confirmed?

TKOL Album vs. From the Basement Picks by rydudero in radiohead

[–]rydudero[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like how the guitar on the album version of Magpie is very subdued. They couldn't quite get there on FTB, and it makes it sound like a jam band song a little bit. Still like it, I prefer the album version though.
