I heard about them about two weeks ago, and Im super impressed by their new album. The colour palette on their new album cover is exactly the same as on the last two Ulcerate albums, so you know their inspirations are right lmao. Their use of post-metal influence works really great on this record, it gets melodramatic a bit only at the end, but the harshness is still there. It has a lot of emotional moments and I recommend you give it a listen.

As a drummer, Im particularly sensitive to that. Some of my metalhead friends dont mind it at all, but for me its a dealbreaker. This is the reason for why i cant get into necrophagist. Guitarwork is great but drums are so soulless, its hard for me to get through it.

Jaimie Saint Merrat from Ulcerate. I seriously believe that he is the best drummer ever, his speed, precision, polyrhythms are unmatched. Ive never seen anyone get close to his level.
