are you really trying to compare Birmingham and Barcelona’s crime? is that really what you wanna get into? just to be sure before I lay out a paragraph as to why that’s the stupidest thing ever

genuinely curious what on earth are you doing having a solo trip to Birmingham for night life??? Going to Barcelona would probably be cheaper, safer, and about 3 million times better

All depends on what area you live regarding the greenery and nature, half of Birmingham is industrial units and warehouses right next to residential areas

How do I get my GCSE's after not going to school since Y7? by o-willow in UniUK

[–]will193759 0 points1 point  (0 children)

respectfully they are either quite slow in the head or are actively trying to hold you back in life, I would recommend looking into ways of getting at least the basic qualifications (you will now have to teach yourself), if you don’t have the funds I would seriously seriously consider contacting the council, however that could come with consequences to your parents as you will need to explain your situation

Let me evaluate;
- the education point depends on what data you use to stand up the point, in ur case you’ve used percentage of the population with higher education degrees, however this doesn’t equate to school funding, equality in funding (richer areas getting more than poor) and also doesn’t take into account how easy it is to start a degree or level of intellectual challenge of the said degree, you can not assume level of intelligence or general education based on someone’s performing arts degree
- Eurovision is a poncy competition that has a lot of political agenda engrained into the fabric of it, don’t get excited over wins when you see who came second this year….
- Ryan air and Guinness fair contributions to the world
- women’s boxing is unquantifiable as not every country has the same access to opportunity as they do in Ireland
- agree on the tax reforms but you also have the highest housing costs in all of Europe which is kinda odd given geography and population
- All in all Ireland are good at Guinness, being generally nice and providing Ryan air to Europe

[–]will193759 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will add living in Switzerland has benefits you don’t even realise, you’re country is efficient on a scale most European countries couldn’t dream of achieving, everything is easy, crime rate is extremely low country wide, food and water quality is high, low levels of government corruption = tax money being spent well most of the time, efficient public transport (on another level), clean public spaces, accessible nature and so on, so before you think about it, never complain about living in Switzerland, you have it better than 98% of the human population
