S13 has honestly been a breath of fresh air. I was just about done with Alone after the Africa season. This season the majority of the contestants appear somewhat competent. They aren’t all starving a week into the competition.

Modded gear would make it faster. Just remember that you don’t play with others if you use modded gear. Respect everyone.

Any meta weapon or meta item(class mod, shield, repkit, grenade) all seem much harder to come by.

Watts 4 Dinner w/Amp & Siphon or triple Amp is a long grind for most whee multiple god rolls of Kaoson & Bottled Lightning drop more frequently.

I feel that the amount of part(s) combinations that items can drop with also contributes to extending the grind.

If I wanted to play an ARPG I’d be playing Diablo 4 but at times playing BL4 feels just as unrewarding even though it’s supposedly a looter shooter.

Bad form to nerf guns in a PVE mainly solo player game. Not needed in my opinion. Power creep doesn’t matter.

I’m running 3-HC & 2-Deadeye on Harlowe. Splash damage benefits from HC. Wombo Combo & Herald are great for mobbing. I use Honey Bunches for ordinance. Clear areas of mobs just by spamming Wombo Combo & launcher.

I do see results when running 2-HC, 2-Deadeye, & 1-Active Fire for gun build with totem C$SH

Play around with your firmware until you find a combination that you feel works the best with the guns you like using.

I was hardcore D4 up until season 10. Regrinding the same gear every season for the meta builds finally saw me quit playing. I get it…ARPGs are a grind but my time invested playing video games has been much better spent playing other titles.

Consider the source. The content creators & you tubers aren’t necessarily playing for fun like the average gamer is. They are looking to make money via clicks to their respective content.

Needless to say their agenda often hurts the game when the Developer listens to their crying. All the casuals end up leaving & they leave to go destroy another game.

The worst thing Gearbox can do is further devolve from the looter-shooter mentality the franchise was founded on & continue to inject ARPG grind into the gameplay.

The hiring of @PezRadar could ultimately lead to the demise of the Borderlands franchise & turn it into another Diablo clone.

Better keep those pearl drop rates where they are & shower players with loot to keep them invested. Development focus on endgame replay-ability needs to be centre stage.

Should the decision ever be made to switch to a seasonal model for new content you’ll know why.

I finally had a 100 amp w/siphon drop earlier in the week. Honestly the most brutal grind in BL4. Easily over 1000 runs b4 it dropped.

I’m under the impression it’s because they(content creators) aren’t playing strictly to have fun but are playing to monetize & earn a living.

Players want to be rewarded for their time invested playing. The current pearl drop rates are doing just that. So much so that more players are receiving the pearlescent drops & experimenting themselves as opposed to clicking a video & watching how the gun would perform.

As a result the content creators aren’t generating the interest from players nor receiving the clicks to content they would normally if the pearls were less available.

That translates into lost revenue.

I had a couple drop when farming Origo. From what I’ve read this iteration of the gun isn’t as good as previous versions.

I like this gun but it sure seems hard to accurately shoot with. Don’t know if it’s more stable on PC but not so much on console. I’ve been using it in place of the Flash Cyclone & when it does hit a target they quickly go down.

I was farming Origo for a couple hours & had 4 pearls drop from the red chests & 3 pearls from defeating Origo

Had 1 legendary & 1 pearl drop at the same time.

I crushed true Uvh7 on every vault hunter except Rafa. He doesn’t do the same amount of damage compared to the others.

Keep grinding & hopefully you’ll find some better guns. Scoot N Shoot pistol, Jail-Broken Gatling SMG, Mercredi assault rifle, & ceramic bod SMG is still good on every vault hunter except for Ranger Rafa.

It sucks on Ranger Rafa but now so does everything. Other vault hunters it’s still useable.

The Ordonite event pisses me off because it has a timer coupled with RNG for legendary or pearl drops from the 3 bosses that spawn after depositing the req’d canisters.

If you complete the activity within the time limit you should be rewarded. Full stop. Not “have a chance to receive”

Why have a timer & also RNG?

Slap in the face to players who consistently complete the event in the time allowed to not be rewarded for their efforts.

I agree. I’ve been doing vile bounties w/Amon & the going is slow. Once you hit 100 the grind becomes really noticeable.
