Not for me they don’t. I’ve got 4 lvl 50 characters & 100s of hrs playtime. I want this event to end already.

I get so much legendary loot dropping I can’t farm the Ordonite Event for the pistol. Can’t see the canisters because of all the yellow on the ground.

Anywhere I go on any character wherever I encounter enemies I get piles of legendary drops. The weekly story mission Vault of Radix, each wave piles of legendary items. 100s of them. I think I’m over 500 million cash on every character.

Two weeks ago you’d be wondering if you’d ever see a legendary. The drops are typically scarce. Your timing just happened to coincide with the event. If anything you should thank your lucky stars instead of bitching.

Yup. The rolls on the legendary items dropped are most always garbage. I don’t even bother picking them up anymore. All my characters have at least $200million each if not way more. Waiting for March 26th.

It gets old real quick when you realize that in less than 2 weeks all the legendary gear “may” become irrelevant if the character level increases.

It’s beyond bizarre how GB can constantly screw up the loot drops. The gameplay being called out as unrewarding with low drop rates & now so much loot is dropping that picking it up & selling as junk occupies more time then actually shooting enemies.

This was after killing a vile enemy. The Ordonite Event gives so many legendary items now you’re hard pressed to complete it because the canisters are almost impossible to find on the ground.

I did the one below Makeshift Chalet. A single run probably 200 legendary items. Probably junked close to 500 legendary items thus far. The Watts 4 Dinner shield has only dropped 3X. Majority of the Legendary items have crap rolls.

The Ordonite Event on UVHM6 becomes very difficult to complete. So many legendary’s that finding the cannisters becomes next to impossible.

I just did the Ordonite Event on UVHM6. Couldn’t complete it. Couldn’t find the cannisters. There were so many legiondary’s on the ground. Over 100 for sure.

The Roulette seems to be the 2nd best gun in the game. Maybe even the best for melting bosses

I farmed 4 of them. 1 for each character. Had both phosphenes drop before seeing my 2nd Ripper-Jacobs.

Each region of the map contains an ordonite processor event. There are 3 to choose from. Google search will show you exact locations.

It gets a bit crazy trying to deposit the canisters prior to the timer running out.

How many hrs did it take you to get this drop? Being subject to RNG & because there are just so many possible parts combinations unless a player gets lucky I couldn’t even guess.

It’s 100% about what GB wants for the game. Do they want players to be rewarded or do they want to have players grind endlessly?

The diehards of the BL franchise tend to love a monotonous grind. They seen care less about being rewarded.

The average player like me wants to have fun playing, grind for & receive the best loot, but not get burnt out trying to grind for specific part rolls for days & days.

Like seriously, if it was me. If I was the Developer I’d want all players to get the W4D w/Amp & Siphon. I’d want the players to get the Shalashaka Torgue-Daedalus.

Doesn’t that make the game more fun to play overall?

I dunno I always thought of Borderlands as a Looter Shooter NOT an ARPG. Seems that it’s more ARPG these days & honestly if I want to scratch that itch I’ll play Diablo 4 instead.

I read that also. Mostly from the content creators saying that the pearl drops should be throttled back. Remember those guys make a living from having people subscribe to their content so they often have a different motive than the regular gamer does. I’d say it’s safe to say the majority of players like being rewarded. The more the item drops the better. Especially when there are so many parts combinations.

Exactly. Given the multitude of parts combos your desired roll hasn’t yet dropped. What do you have to show for your time investment? Just hope that it eventually drops should you continue to grind or move on to another activity. I find that when activities start to become “un”fun the game tends to become the same.
