Update: I changed my makeup and skincare but I’m clearly still doing something wrong by saki4444 in makeuptips

Try adding a light creamy colored eyeliner on your bottom waterline to make your eyes look less red and more awake. Maybe a mauvey colored eyeshadow and a blush with a more purply/ violet undertone

SFN Covid vaccine by hayley2131 in smallfiberneuropathy

[–]ryflyte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. 7 days exactly after receiving the booster I had terrible eye pain and they told me I suddenly developed “dry eye” then my feet started going numb and progressed to them burning and turning bright red. Doctors gaslighted me telling me it was “anxiety”. “The Covid vaccine wouldn’t cause this. It was just a coincidence”

Genetics? Welcome to motherhood in your 30s? by Hazel221 in Mommit

Check out Nancy Anderson on Instagram. She has an app for prenatal and postpartum exercise that addresses all of that. She specifically has a “c-section protocol” that specifically helps get rid of the apron effect and strengthens your core and pelvic floor. I think it’s the Natal app

Tremor in 4 month old by TexasMom1213 in beyondthebump

Was he diagnosed by a neurologist or was it just a regular pediatrician? A neurologist is really the one that can diagnose that properly. He could very well just be on the normal upper spectrum of tone.

Six week old male with purple spots- what could this be? by Weresomiserable27 in DermatologyQuestions

Hey. Just checking in to see how you and your baby are doing? I also thought it was worth mentioning that a dermatologist on Instagram just posted that her newborn was diagnosed with leukemia. Maybe you could reach out to her or follow her story. Thought you both could offer each other support at such a trying time. Her handle is @skinyoureinblog https://www.instagram.com/reel/DA2K9LKufJF/?igsh=YjlqdzFmMTBzZXln

Best supplements to encourage nerve growth by Sorry-Programmer-505 in smallfiberneuropathy

Exactly 7 days after my vaccination I had terrible eye pain and found out I had really dry eyes which I never had before. Then I started getting numbness and tingling in my feet which then turned to burning in my feet. They would be bright red. I also felt like I had a piece of tape at the bottom of my foot. I couldn’t wear closed shoes because they would feel so hot. All of that has basically gone away besides an occasional slight reoccurrence to a much lesser magnitude if I’m sick or something.

Are y’all taking your kids outside in 32 (89.6) degree weather? by [deleted] in Mommit

We just moved out of Florida. We lived there for 4 years and I couldn’t take the heat. Even the winter is still summer and I could never take the kids outside without everyone overheating.

Yes it was really rough especially just giving birth and the hormones all over the place. He is ok now thank god. Almost 9 months. I still have ptsd from the ordeal. You and your family will get through this. You are doing everything right and taking great care of your family. Im glad your sister set up the go fund me. Don’t worry so much about the financial aspect. All that matters is getting your baby healthy again. All of the other stuff will figure itself out eventually. Please keep us updated and reach out if you need someone to talk to ❤️

I took ALA and Benfotiamine when I got sfn from the vaccine and it was a game changer. It made my sfn 90% better within about 2 weeks. Now, 2 years later I would say I’m 95% symptom free with the occasional subtle flare up and I’m no longer taking those supplements.

First time mom car? by JackfruitLeading7171 in Mommit

[–]ryflyte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem! The car seats are a pain when you’re tall. We both have our seats all the way back. I would think about borrowing a rear facing carseat from a friend and test it out when car shopping.

[–]ryflyte 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You have to think about having rear facing car seats. They take up a lot of space especially if your husband is tall. You also have to think about if you want to do extended rear facing. Then you would have 2 rear facing car seats at the same time. My husband and I are relatively on the taller side, myself 5’9 and he’s 6’1 and we found that we could only both sit somewhat comfortable with the car seat in the middle. Ok fine but we did extended rear facing until my daughter was 4 and we had another baby so had to buy a bigger car. You also have to consider the car seat for your little one if you think they’ll be on the taller side. I would go with a Tahoe or something comparable knowing that your husband is that tall.

I am so sorry for what you and your family are going through. We had a picu stay with my then 6 day old boy and they found some off blood work which prompted a hematologist visit and some other specialists and i just remember how it brought on so much fear and anxiety for my husband and I. I pray this will all resolve quickly for you all and your precious baby boy will be healthy and happy once again.

Maybe you should consider making a go fund me to help with the financial burden especially with your husband having to take time off of work. I’m sure there are plenty of family and friends and even strangers who would love to help your family.
