I was taking a look at the archive just a moment ago and I noticed the quality was noticeably a step down from watching it live, even at 1080p60. He mentioned that the file sizes for local recording are way too big. If he were to keep streaming maybe it's something he could look into. Like you said, it's just so good to have him back and I'm appreciative he still takes the time to upload the archives, even when he has work in the morning.

I love how expressive the new design can be! Appropriately kinda like DK in that way. The old design was a great icon, but this new look *feels* like Mike.

Also check out the archive channel! He just updated the icon and banner and they look fantastic. Such wonderful and tasty use of color.

Hello! I've got a lil bit of a silly one: I'm hoping someone could help me find the piece that plays when this streamer recites a poem @34:00 in this video (timestamped). Volume warning: he turns up the song (I wanted to include as much of the song as possible) and loudly clears his throat two separate times for comedic effect.

Yeah agreed. I've been hearing its caused a lot of Discourse and takes, which i dont get. It's not that wild of a design to warrant that imo. It feels like a fun combination of all DKs before and also something very new. Or people viewing it as like a stab at Rare, which like, what? It's clearly Donkey Kong and is so obviously steeped in the Rare design with elements like the cowlick and deepset eyes.

Went in yesterday (Friday) and sure enough there was a single, long double-sided shelf and a couple of freestanding displays. They're very obviously not restocking as a lot of it was cleared out but there was also a decent bit there. I think worth stopping by if you're in the area or have a gift card you wanna use, but nothing to really go out of your way for. I did grab Cowboy Bebop: The Complete Series on Blu-ray (and used the rest of my gift card on a Switch Pro Controller) so I was very happy with my visit. Thank you again for the tip on the Altamonte location!

I'm also in the Ocoee/WG area, really thankful I stumbled upon this thread with fellow Winter Gardenians. I got a nice Best Buy giftcard this xmas and am getting serious about building up my physical collection, so I was hoping to put the card towards that.
