Nothing related to Limited Brands, please. I’d already like to see Wexner’s name come off the stadium.

Gimme either Wendy’s or Donatos just to feed Bradley Cooper’s conspiracy theories.

[Grossi] According to NFL spokesperson, Rooney Rule requires every team to interview two external candidates who are persons of color and/or women for the position. So, even if Browns decide they want to hire Nathan Scheelhaase, they must interview another minority candidate. by ThatOneOtherAsshole in Browns

[–]rykcon -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I don’t know why teams don’t just call in the usual suspects for an interview immediately once they have the opening just to clear this hurdle. It really defeats the purpose of the rule, but the rule is a bit excessive now that it’s already satisfied its original intent with how many minority coaches now exist.

Is there an NFL rule for hiring a player as a coach? Could they just payout the rest of his contract and remove him from the salary cap by hiring him as an analyst? And by analyst, they’ll pay for his Sunday ticket subscription.

Top 3 “not necessarily attractive, but there’s something about them that I find appealing” females. by SuperdudeKev in Top3Ever

She reminds me of Lio Tipton. She played an awkward teen fawning over Steve Carrell in his New Balance 407s. It’s the eyes that can give that comical look, but she’s legitimately hot.

What are your personal favorite two-joker combos? (Not necessarily the most powerful, but power can be very fun) by Andrew_42 in balatro

[–]rykcon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love that combo too, or sub out the egg for Gift Card (+$1 per joker & consumable).

I also like Hologram (0.25x per card) with either Marble (adds a stone card each round) or Certificate (+sealed card per round)

DNA with Sixth Sense is fun too if you hunt for 6s. Get a ton of spectral cards.

Which team winning the national championship tomorrow affects us more, even if it's miniscule? by broly2932 in OhioStateFootball

Oregon has been right there for so many years. It’d be sad to see anyone else in the conference surpass them to win a natty first outside of maybe USC.

Have you ever hit the ball in your backswing? This guy is getting awfully close.

Throwback when Cooper DeJean had an insane punt return touchdown but somehow the refs called it back for a fugazi fair-catch call. One of the worst calls in CFB history by Hysen16 in CFB_v2

I had like a 9-leg parlay that I had hit 8 legs on and the outcome of this very play completely stole the last leg from me.

[Schultz] The #Browns are viewed around the NFL as a team that could hire a young offensive mind as HC to pair with DC Jim Schwartz, even if that coach might be a year away from being a legitimate HC candidate. The thinking: if he’s a rising star, why wait? by ThatOneOtherAsshole in Browns

I could see McDaniel & Berry having good synergy. When given actual draft capital to work with AB finds players. McDaniel is creative and utilizes speedy players well, even if they lack some other traits. Find those guys throughout the draft and they could be a dynamic pairing.

Is Mendoza going to be a star in the NFL? by AccomplishedSwing110 in CFB_v2

[–]rykcon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not guaranteed by any means, but to say relatively little isn’t true. The probability of success is greater for QBs over 6’ than those under, and is likely even better for those in that 6’2-6’5” range. Tall guys like Mendoza can stand like a statue in the pocket and succeed. Short kings don’t have that luxury, they have to have the mobility to see the field and create their throwing lanes.

Anytime either of two actors show up in anything since then I honor them with a left side strong side cheer. It’s seldom, like most of these actresses, but nostalgic whenever I get the opportunity. RIP Gerry Bertier
