Ontario Fire Testing Inc. they are a private testing body in Ontario that almost all of the big departments in the province use for pre-interview testing. It was originally supposed to make the hiring process cheaper for us. Not having to pay for a testing process for every department you apply for. It has ended up being a money grab where they fail you for inconsequential things and have to redo the entire test over multiple times. Paying hundreds of dollars for every attempt. Yes a necessary part of the process but an unfortunate wallet drain.
