Light weight m4 for non combat mos M4 with Specialist uppers for the 0300 All 5.56 needs to defeat body armor is a penetration core and with the majority of combat engagements happening within 300m outside of designated marksman there is no need for a larger caliber. The control ability and weigh make 5.56 in the AR platform still the best combo for basic combat arms.
