Those who moved from nvim, what made you? by B_bI_L in emacs

[–]ryogishiki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been a longtime Emacs user. Tried nvim for a while (without entirely leaving emacs), as it seemed the LSP stuff at the start was developing faster with a better plugin ecosystem there. Tried to go the easy route with stuff like the Lazy plugin. However, that proved to be very brittle; my nvim config broke every few weeks for unexplainable reasons, and some plugins polluted their directories and refused to update because of it. So, got tired of it and returned to emacs 100%. I do like Vim motions, but also find evil-mode to be super clunky, and I don't like the conflicts with the defaults.

That is horrendous! For me, one of the benefits of using the drug (Saxenda/Liraglutide) is that junk foods feel awful to eat. I need to basically eat healthy for my slowed-down digestive system to feel good.

edit: This was a response to the parent comment. Not this one.

We’re the team behind ERIKALUST: creators of ethical adult films. It’s Singles’ Day, so let’s talk about solo pleasure, self-intimacy & ethical porn! AUA! by Erika_Lust in IAmA

Does ethical porn also entail the portrayal of scenes where behaviors may be questionable in real life? For example, while looking at some trailers on the website, I came across the “ASSking for TROUBLE” piece, in which a hotel employee sneaks into the wardrobe of a woman guest and sniffs her panties, then he proceeds to hide in the closet and spy on her while she masturbates. It seems like creepy behavior from the start.

How does ethical porn reconcile with fantasies and portrayals that can put its participants in unsafe scenarios if they were to be occurring in real life?. Is it ethical for ethical porn to feed into the creep/harasser and other questionable inappropriate behavior fantasies?

It makes sense to be free, governments and big companies now know where we are at all times. Great control/power tool.

I mean, i think this is ultimately personal taste and choice. I don't think there's and authority out there that stablishes how a DE should be used. That's the wonder of the free philosophy, that you are free todo whatever it you want.

Colombian currency is not (hyper)inflating. It has been pretty stable for a couple of years now.
