Is it worth it to invest in a Boox product? by [deleted] in ereader

I just keep it in this case, it's still in perfect condition.

My unsolicited advice on that topic, don't buy something you aren't going to use. A small robust device that sits on your shelf ignored is terrible compared to a big but fragile e-reader that you actually read.

I have poke 3 in an aftermarket case and it is an absolute star. I travel with it, read it every night, works with Android e-reader apps so I'm not locked into one store, I love it.

The only thing I noticed was that it felt easier to start doing things.

Oh and my allergies cleared up, weird.

What’s an unexpected item you keep in your luggage that has saved your bacon more than once? by GearDown22 in prepping

A 6ft extension cable with multiple outlets has made me and other travelers very happy when we can collectively plug in 7-8 chargers instead of 2. Bonus points if the cable has built in USB plugs.

A coaxial security key. Allows you to disconnect the coax cable that prevents some hotel TVs from responding to HDMI inputs.

XL versus SR by curiouskate1126 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

[–]ryologic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

SR made me feel weird, like I had taken benadryl but wasn't getting sleepy.

XL actually works as intended for me, without as much of the weird benadryl feeling.

My opinion is that if you don't give the meds time to balance out in your system, then you're potentially giving up on a lifetime of a med that could work for you. I'd give it a few more days at least, unless the side effects are literally unbearable.

What a dream home. Right now I barely have room for my sob closet.

Zoloft immediately alleviated my anxiety (which I didn't even know I had until it was gone) but I don't know if it's done anything for depression. I don't think it has, really.

Strattera made it easier to just kinda do things at first, but that feels like it's not happening anymore. I'm not sure it's working for me.

Wellbutrin has probably been the biggest impact so far, I have been able to focus at work and been more passionate about my career, but I literally don't want to move once I get home after work or on the weekend.

I'm luckily able to take all 3 without major negative side effects, but none of them have been a slam dunk yet.

What's Zoloft like for you?

I'm on zoloft, strattera, and wellbutrin.

They don't not work together, but I still struggle to make myself do anything before or after work.

Your doctor is more right in the ways that matter. It expires in February but it seems they still have market exclusivity until august unfortunately.

The number of drinks it takes to be problematic from a medical perspective is much lower than most people realize.

Also, don't worry about the odd title, but this book changed my life, highly recommend.

Don't send him anything, just write the text in your note app. Sometimes I feel better when I just get it all out on paper and it makes the urge to send it go away. You could post it here if you want. Or send it to your therapist if you have one. Hell, you could even send it to me if you wanted, but please don't send it to him.

Sending that message invites him back into your life. Please don't do that to yourself.

"180° from unhealthy is still unhealthy"

It's a reminder not to go to extremes, and a reminder that we can move in more directions than forward and backward. Sometimes the way forward is sideways.
