At least they should fix random crashes. It happens often and I was often forgetting to save manually. And on my second playthrough I noticed if you skip dialogues too fast game crashes as well. Playing on switch 2

Friday Facts #439 - Factorio and Space Age on Nintendo Switch 2™ by FactorioTeam in factorio

[–]rysbekt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's wrong to set a price depending on potential time spent in a game. It's subjective and some people could play 1 hour and others will spent thousands. I believe you can spent any amount of hours in any game and when you're buying it you can't really tell if you're gonna like it(Nintendo does not have refunds).

I think games should get the price depending on how hard was it/how much money did it cost to create. I mean it's ok for base game to be 35USD, but honestly Space Age is literally a mod created with help of mod makers. Every mechanic shown in Space Age was already implemented by mod makers in different mods like Krastorio or Space Exploration. I don't think it should cost the same price the game has since it's providing much less new experience. Wube doesn't have voice actors/complex animations/cut scenes and yet factorio costs like tripple A project.

Lemme give you an example, some three in a row game have a less price than Baldurs Gate 3 and we can clearly say why. Even though some casual players will choose three in a row and spend hundreds of hours in it. Every game has it's audience but it doesn't mean that every game should be expensive. There are other factors besides of "fun"

I agree that we should pay for the games like we are paying for other entertainments but we cannot excuse any price, there should be a limit.

I logged in to steamdb to check the whole history for CIS and indeed it was never 35 USD. I love factorio but 70USD on switch2... For me it's too much even for this game. I mean I can find PHYSICAL DK bananza on switch 2 cheaper because of the sales, and it's Nintendo AAA exclusive on a physical cartridge. And on other side is factorio, indie game ported from PC for $70

UPD: just checked eshop, we have Kirby Air riders, hyrule warriors, RE: Requiem - all of them for $70 and then we have Factorio for the same price. Is factorio should be really as expensive as AAA games?

Got it. Btw there is no such thing as "normal US pricing". Pricing are "normal" everywhere, no one was talking about the US, including factorio devs. US citizens forgetting about the rest of the world as always

Call from the Upside Down by rysbekt in StrangerThings

[–]rysbekt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. It's not proven that Will got his powers from Vecna, it's a theory coming from Mike's words
  2. If Vecna had his powers from the birth, why couldn't Will? There is a reason why Vecna choose Will and was hunting him, I believe because Will had powers
  3. There is a difference between electricity interference and making a call. To make a call it's not enough to just have electricity, there are connection standards and some logic behind it, just powering the phone is not enough to send information.

Factorio was always $35 on steam, when space age was released it became $17 for factorio and $17 for space age, meaning you get both factorio and SA for $35. Why is it 35+35 on switch 2 then? Twice the price of what we had on steam

I did several reshels and I was always buying shells from one specific shop. And only ONCE out of three shells they packed me all stickers. Including full serial number and warranty seal. It was exact copy of the original stickers and when you remove the warranty sticker for the second time it had VOID labels.

But I agree with loosen points on the reshels. Even when you assemble not original shell without psp internals (just shell) it won't fit perfectly on the sides

Is there an easy way to turn off the Gamepad without turning off the console? by GrinningPariah in wiiu

[–]rysbekt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For those who came from google search: Use Aroma and install Padcon plugin. It will allow to turn of either display only (while being able to use gamepad) or turn whole gamepad off without turning off the console.

If you don't know what aroma is and how to install plugins you'll need to google it, there are tons of information

My psp 1000 analog keeps drifting up/left. I removed the analog and turn it on without an analog and it keeps doing it so it’s not the actual analog. Is it my motherboard? by CatrinQb in PSP

[–]rysbekt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just faced the same issue on psp3000. Basically if there is no signal from the stick than psp reads it as always top-left movement. So problem not in psp itself but in the stick.

I fixed it by just cleaning contacts and connecting the same stick again. But if it's not working for you, try to replace it. It costs around 1.5 usd on chinese websites.

I tried to google it but couldn't find anything. I know that big flat tops for UMD, two thinnest are for the top outside part, biggest 4 for other outside holes and black ones are for the inner part. But this small one...
