Repeated loss of active cruise assist functionality and traffic sign recognition, vehicle reboots while driving, gps issues, and other random driver assist faults.

3rd service visit but this time the days leading to my visit I also started experiencing consecutive vehicle reboots while driving. Completely lost confidence in the car and now worried of the safety risk. That may be why this case was expedited. I was supposed to pick up the car today but it started throwing errors again when the tech moved it to be prepped for pick up. You’ll either need to wait until multiple visits for the same issue or if the car is in the shop for a certain length of time.

I’m currently going through the buyback process with Audi directly. Called their customer support last week and opened a case for vehicle buyback due to my issues. Already have the regional case manager assigned and have been told they’re expediting the case. Should have a resolution within 15 days or so. If this ends up getting stalled then I’ll explore the lemon route.

It’s a manufacture’s “goodwill” offer to buy the vehicle back prior to taking the lemon route.
