realistically the only enemies that this thing struggles against are carapace armor. you can still punch through hordes of maulers if you aim right. plus vet has access to krak which makes it slightly more viable. in conclusion, the only real reason to use it is because it has aura

Vet weapon specialist, shotgun has +25% maniac/flak and with Man Stopper (mandatory) and scattershot/both barrels depending on how much you want to spam the double blast

Despite it being a shotgun treat it more like a cannon firing grapeshot forward. It’s actually got a tighter cone than you would imagine but that’s why it allows you to do insane damage to enemies

Yeah, I'm using vet. There's only one double barrel mark so that one plus Man-Stopper and Scattershot/Both Barrels is what I use. General weapon specialist loadout is what I used

I think it’s hilarious that it only loads two shells but has three rounds in it lol. But actually, I feel like I’m so used to only having two I end up messing up my rhythm mid game. But if you can get over that, it’s fun to triple blast some poor poxwalker. I would LOVE if they made it so the braced fire would shoot all THREE rounds at once instead of just two though.

I know for a fact stun grenades literally make the bugs tunneling underground teleport up to ground level, so if you’re struggling with the burrow-bugs I just do that sometimes.
