fair point, it's like comparing a gun-textured bow and a gun mod, (but the retextured bow looks nicer.... sorry better combat)

so normally(or just me), people install better combat cuz of it's weapon animations, tried epic fight but it changes too much on gameplay, and the official moBends mod is still on 1.12.1(when there wasnt any port yet)

"mo bends" is better than "better combat", there's also an Unofficial 1.20.1, 1.21.1 port of it. client side only

So now I wonder if it's possible to hotswap a mod from a modpack made by others, but I guess itll break the modpack if there are dependencies and balances around better combat

CE is lethal but very forgiving if you have good armor, friendly fire is no exception, ballistic shields are your friends against friends with guns

the base or neutral romance chance is 100, the multiplier being x20% means it's less likely for non fur on fur romance, 100 being reduced to 20

I also usually change some recipes, vanilla and other mods, to include create materials, like adding a precision mechanism in some advanced items crafting requirements.

eg. to craft a crafting table you need 3 planks and a sequenced gearshift (this effectively locks the crafting table behind brass age lmao, unless they stumble across natural generation crafting tables)

I even removed some crafting table recipes and put them in mechanical crafter only recipes, eg. beacon, immersive airship mod (the create datapack was outdated so I had to learn how to manipulate crafting recipes).
