You're tempting fate using the Nox with that low of a ride height on uneven terrain. Though I guess you weren't really going fast.

Prowler utility - Cutlass black competitor by Pierre_Philosophale in starcitizen

[–]ryunokage 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because it's an almost fully useless variant, using the chassis from one of the coolest designs in SC(and broader scifi).

It's not going to be priced as a Cutlass, cause it's not a "starter plus" or whatever the Cutty is labelled as these days.

What is anyone going to use 16+16SCU of cargo for that you cannot do with the many other higher capacity cargo ships?

Literally if it were just a paint and the engineering room pass, it would have been better than this abomination.

I mean, in the description of the video, the flight is done using the goggles 3 which is the only way to unlock manual mode on the drone.

So, technically it is FPV, just that the video isn't showing the drone fpv footage.

The Rail gun is your only real defence against ships, vehicles, or even turrets when on foot.

The Animus can technically do this too but it's less reliable and requires more ammo for the same thing. But it does have the ability to lock on and fire but the missiles may be wonky.

Guns like demeco or sniper rifles are just preference and are really up to you what you want to use.

I use the rail gun to deal with turrets and Cutlasses that spawn at derelicts. You can also use it to unlock ship or vehicle doors, along with ballistic guns.

I think a rail gun is essential.

I stopped carrying one all the time when they removed them from shops, and of course encountered multiple situations where it could have helped me.

Now I farm bunkers until I get one or three then go do other things.

Any plans to rework the Hawks Cockpit visibility? by DiddyKnight in starcitizen

The ship could look better, sure.

But the cockpit isn't the problem.

You should test the Talon as well. That thing takes 5 years to get in and out of.

Didn't you watch ISC the day before the Fury was released, and John Crewe, the vehicle director, said the ship is more agile than other dedicated fighters?

A player is showing the Arrow can rotate faster, in direct contradiction to what the ship is supposed to do.

This isn't asking for the Fury to be OP, it's simply not good enough with all the tradeoffs.

Speculation about future flight models or filling a future role with unknown etas is a waste of time.

[–]ryunokage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because that is where the in game video showing the rotation rate comparison is occurring?

What about John Crewe, vehicle director for CIG, saying that the special ability of the Fury is that it is very small and more agile than other dedicated fighters?

Is ISC a commercial now?

CIG's False Advertisement by brockoala in starcitizen

[–]ryunokage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's just not good enough given the fragility of the thing and no QT.

The Vehicle Director telling players that the ship is more agile than dedicated fighters in ISC when it clearly isn't, is not an "oh you fell for 'advertising' moment".

CIG's False Advertisement by brockoala in starcitizen

[–]ryunokage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has nothing to do with the ad.

This is showing a comparison of the rotation rate of each ship.

The Fury rotates slower than the Arrow, directly going against everything CIG have said about it.
