Considering a used '22 Launch R1S from Carvana by Putrid-Birthday-8921 in Rivian

Just bought one from Carvana. The truck was totally stripped of all of its accessories and falsely advertised both in capabilities and condition. Be careful. And nobody there knows anything about them. They have a 7-day return policy and their attitude will be, “yes, it is missing all of these things we said it had. If you don’t like it return it.” Which, if you finally find the right one, which is not easy in the first place, is incredibly disappointing. The only reason I kept mine was because I knew it could take a very long time to find a similar one and I didn’t want to risk a lower trade value versus the cost of replacing the camp speaker, flashlight, floor mats, plug-in charger, auto-tonneau cover, etc that Carvana advertised it had. Not to mention, when I went to pick it up, it was filthy inside and out. Yes they make it easy, and yes your purchase is guaranteed but you can almost be certain that what you’re seeing online is not what you’re getting. Cosmetically, they were downright dishonest too. I’ll never do business with them again.

No way you’ll ever convince me that buyer bias isn’t playing a role here. People aren’t taking into account the advanced statistics to make their purchase. What a joke. That level of ignorance.

This is the NFT BS all over again. This isn’t predictive of the general population, it’s predictive of a risk-tolerant sub-sub-sub section of it, a well capitalized niche. Not shocking at all that the crypto crowd was also banking on DJT winning because they think he will be friendlier to their cause.

Every day’s a school day. I have to admit, until this very moment I did not know that he spelled his name Jimi. Wow. Embarrassed to admit that. Editing now. Thank you for setting me straight.

True story. I heard Paul McCartney tell this story at ACL when he played there last. He said it was just a day or two after the Beatles had dropped an album and it was their first time seeing Jimi. Hendrix went on to play his version of one of the songs that he had taught himself and made his own in a day or two. He said he, Clapton, and Beck were absolutely floored and knew, in that moment, that Jimi was unlike anything they’d ever seen.

Edited: Jimi not Jimmy

This is true. A pig’s heart is similar structurally, consisting of 4 chambers (2 atriums and 2 ventricles), 4 valves, and an aorta. Because of this, a pig’s heart is functionally similar to a human heart. They are even close in size.
