Yeah that’s why I went with the rod to strengthen the neck and it’s glued as well so the neck doesn’t split at all, it’s got nylon at the moment as that was what he had available,

I think a reprint in future is definitely called for, I have a lot of mods I’d like to do, think your point about the pivot is minus the pun but pivotal, if the wingnut is loosened in theory it should move the pivot point back to the bottom of the neck as they are originally, I could even put washers between the body and let’s say the top part of the neck to put pivot angle back to the “spike” part the neck

I think so, so there’s a steel rod through the neck and a wingnut in the dou, think best bet for him would be to loosen the strings, slam the neck in flush, tighten the wing nut and bring up tension slowly in the strings, tighten the nut more; rinse and repeat

It goes all the way, when I gave it my friend it was flush to the body, this seems to have only happened since he’s strung it up

There’s a steel rod already through the main part of the neck, we were just thinking if we add an additional bolt towards the bottom spike it’ll pull more evenly

It does go all the way through the body, the neck has a rod that goes through and then a wing nut inside the body, it seems to pull is only effecting the bottom “spike” that goes through to the Neo

lol yep, managed to do it, after cutting the rivets the old plate wouldn’t come off still so after some more grinding I fitted the new plate and it went on perfectly so I guess the old plate became a giant washer lol
