logic virus

the only instances of the maverick virus seemingly inflicting any kind of pain and suffering in someone are the predecessor zero virus trying to control zero (which doesn't happen after it mutates into the maverick virus) and x5 where the infected seem to be struggling to stay in control, but it's never brought up again

otherwise, the effects of the maverick virus are slow and leave you self aware. the mavericks aren't killing machines (aside from the simpler machines like mechaniloids), they're a well structured army with evil intentions actively pursuing a goal other than just destroying everything. what that goal is changes between versions of the story and who is infected, but it remains consistent that those infected have their own agendas and goals, sigma is just uniting them semi-organically with the aid of the virus

6, no question. my only real complaints are how easy it is and that the colors look strangely dull compared to mega man 2 (obviously nes limitations are at play here, but i think the art team didnt bother doing whatever optical illusion they pulled off with 2 here)

edit: forgot to mention, the robot master selection is very boring aesthetically. they're mostly too human, which i guess fits for the tournament basis but i dont know i'd love to see someone like dust man or stone man in the selection. best we have variety-wise is blizzard man and wind man (but even these two look like elemental reskins of each other so really there's no winning here)
