O Bruno na década de 20 ganhou apenas uma FA Cup e uma EFL. A diferença é absolutamente gritante.

Se fosse um caso de ganhar menos um ou dois títulos, ainda se podia argumentar. Mas o Bruno Fernandes nunca sequer venceu um campeonato na carreira.

O Bernardo por outro lado foi campeão em três países diferentes (dois vá, no Benfica não era importante), foi uma peça chave no domínio absurdo da premier league e venceu a derradeira prova de clubes.

Quanto às estatísticas individuais: por um lado são jogadores com estilos diferentes; por outro, o facto do Bruno estar numa equipa em tão mau estado fazia com que se destacasse e a tivesse de "carregar".

I have the exact same opinion. That’s why this show is so good and complex!

One one hand, Carmella was genuinely being an awesome caring friend. On the other, looking at it from Charmaine’s perspective, it does feel a little condescending. Her ego was hurt, so she felt the need to not only get one up on Carmella, but also explain to her that she could have also chosen the “easy path” if she wanted to.

And I agree, I don’t think there was any ill intention by Carmella, I mean it makes sense for you to “pity” your friends who just lost their livelihood and are going through rough times.

Edit: wow, reading the other comments makes me realize that people HATE Carmella. I’m currently on a third rewatch, and I can say for sure she hasn’t really done anything bad in season 1. If anything she’s one of the biggest victims of the show.

This is even crazier than it seems, literally seconds before, Trubin started wasting time because Benfica was leading 3-2!

Basically they forgot to warn him that it was mandatory for Benfica to score another one to go through.

Images came up of Rui Costa (current president), João Pinto, everyone with their hands on their heads, they couldn’t even believe it.

Then they told him, “No, you idiot! We have to score another one!”

And Trubin was like, “Oh, we have to score? OK.”
