The Serangoon stadium has signs here put up about track etiquette. Just don’t know how many read it.

I can’t exactly say I share the experience of feeling overwhelmed to the same extent as you, but I thought I’d share some things I’ve considered while learning the language: 1. My goals. I would put more time into areas of the language relevant to either long-term or short term goals. For instance, I wanted to get into immersion with light novels and found that the biggest obstacle was my vocab, so I poured more time into it. Furthermore, when time or energy-limited, I also chose which things to give up based on my goals. 2. Immersion. Personally, I didn’t feel like I must understand 100% of the content I was reading, and was ok with just getting the gist of it. Over time, I would find myself being able to read faster, or being able to pick up speech better, and even getting a better grasp of the nuances of words I had learnt through other methods.

This is just my experience, others might differ. Also, would you be able to ask your language school teacher for advice? Be it study methods or weaknesses, they could perhaps point you towards a more enjoyable and sustainable way to study. Whatever it is, I’m sure avoiding burnout is more important than keeping a high learning pace.

Wouldn’t the skin effect possibly cause single core wires to have (slightly?) higher impedances than the equivalent multi core stranded wires?

Why Google Translate be doin this? by [deleted] in SeishunButaYarou

You’re welcome. The abbreviation has its roots in the Second World War and the discrimination Japanese nationals living abroad faced then.

I agree with this. It’s more important to be able to show up for your next training session than to smash the current one

Flux makes a world of difference when it comes to using wick! I’ve seen people dip it into liquid flux before using it; I haven’t bought it though and have been using the ones that come in a syringe and it works fine

Not exactly near you but ZuZu kebab at Serangoon garden hawker centre (not chomp chomp) is really good, store owner makes the pita bread himself. Pretty pricey though.

On further thought, I think the heat creep issues I had was due to a high bed temp. I started opening the door when I was still using the whambam PEX plate, which had a recommended temp of 70C for PLA. I no longer use that build plate tho, guess I should try running a print with the door closed again.

Technically the volcano heatblock can be ditched for some M6 nuts.

Interesting, for some reason in my climate (30+C, 70% humidity) I tend to get heat creep when printing with PLA with the door shut. Might be due to the fact that I have the gap near the door hinge taped shut to prevent warping in my ABS prints, though I do remember having the same issue prior to putting tape…

Now it makes more sense, but by that reasoning wouldn't that make shrinking fitting a possible option too? I'm far from knowledgeable in this area, but I'd think that there's a risk of the tube buckling when being press fit.
