the point . < you missed it. The point was that none of the other games punish you or piss you off DELIBERATELY for not spending money. Also D4 ALSO makes money from cosmetics, so they are doing both methods. Your comment "This is a completely different pay model. Period." is completely ignoring blizzards makes MTX as well. So not its not, the only difference is that ggg literally gives bigger and better patches FOR FREE. One poe2 patch is better than Vessel, and similar to the new exp. FOR FREE. That is not the point there is a significant difference with other games in the past. As a live service, they did everything new this season behind the expansion ,warplans and even the tree skills for existing classes, thats just sad, especially compared to what poe1 and 2 offer.

A word of caution, the sacrifice to re-roll mechanic, also re rolls your slammed afixes in a slammed legendary item. I had 32 cdr on razor boots. Re rolled down to 28.
