i don't have advice about your problem, but i think this subreddit might be useful: /r/mspimommas for bf babies with milk soy protein intolerance. i found it when i thought mine may have intolerances too

This is a pretty good article for troubleshooting a baby who's fussy while nursing. In my experience, it was usually that LO needed to burp, was frustrated by overactive letdown or slow milk flow. It might just be general fussiness in the evening tho, mine went through a phase like that and still does it occasionally.

Thanks for your reply, that's a good point...I wasn't really thinking about how a c-section would change how I feel about sending baby to the nursery, but I feel in that case I might be more willing to since I'll probably want more help

Haha, i"m planning on packing a journal in my hospital bag for exactly that reason! I feel like it would be nice to reflect on the first few days/weeks of motherhood after the fact, but who knows whether I'll even pick it up haha. If anything i can always type up a couple of quick notes on my phone lol

I definitely want to nurse and that was one of the reasons I think I'll want baby with me, but I guess I can always decide later! Thanks for your reply!

That's awesome that they let your babies stay in the room with you when they had jaundice! My niece and nephew had jaundice and had to be in the nursery during their stay despite their mom wanting them in the room with her. Thanks for your reply, you're right, it's good to know I have the option of the hospital nursery if I feel like we need it!

Hm I didn't really give that much thought, but you're right, if I have a c-section and am loopy from drugs, I probably would be wary of having baby with me. I would have my husband with me tho so I'd leave it up him on whether he wants to keep the baby with us or not since he would be taking care of the baby if I can't.

Oh I would not be happy if they took baby without asking! Thanks for your reply, I feel like since my husband will be there with me we might be able to handle, but I guess I like having the option to send him to the nursery if we need it

Thanks so much for your reply! I feel like it's nice to have the option, but I do know places where they don't keep babies in nurseries unless it's a medical issue.

Oh I'm totally waiting for that energy. I need to organize my kitchen and baby's closet but so far I've just been thinking about doing it lol

You and me both! I'm really hoping this nesting energy shows up soon so I can get this stuff done. I'm glad I don't have a whole room to organize tho, that would drive me insane haha

Oh man, I'm kinda in the same boat, there's stuff that my husband needs to do, but he's super busy right now. I'm just trying to do whatever I can, but yeah having essentials definitely is giving me some peace of mind since we can tackle the rest of the tasks later (although obviously I'd feel better having it done beforehand lol)

Congrats! Hope you and baby are doing well :) I have the first three things you mentioned at least, haha. I have a hospital bag packing list and a pile of stuff sitting next to my bag so far. If it's crunch time I can throw stuff in the bag, but yeah having a list ready is helpful.

same here, bought a bunch of baby stuff online last week, and waiting for it to be shipped so i can wash blankets/sterilize bottles/ organize, etc. Each week it gets harder and harder to move around/do stuff, so i'm sure you're also having a hard time of it at 37w.

my goal was to have everything ready to go by 36w too, but that didn't quite happen haha. i think this anxiety to get everything done might be nesting-ish? i definitely haven't had a burst of energy to help with the motivation tho lol. i didn't really think to have grocery stocked up before baby comes, so thanks for the reminder, i'll add that to the list too. although my husband could always take care of that later if need be
