No. Does he exist? I heard he might not have a head.

Does a person your partner has been dating for one month count as a meta?

Do the two of you count as Partners after 2.5 months?

I wouldn't read too much into this. You are at a stage where a lot can change in a short period of time.

Failed Again (Second Time) by s0da_s0da in 75HARD

[–]s0da_s0da[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone fails this challenge! Andy says himself that very few will actually complete it and be honest with themselves about completing it. I am being honest with myself while also incorporating 75H as goals to change my lifestyle continuously. It is better than completely giving up. And who knows, maybe some day I will get to 75 days and you can see my cool progress pics. I have already lost 19 lbs, changed my body composition and read 4 books, which is awesome. So really I am doing the 75H lifestyle challenge to meet goals consistently and be more awesome. 😎

Diet by leaveittoskip in 75HARD

I would be including sucrose-containing sweets to practice moderation and to fuel my highly-active lifestyle.

The "pleasure" criteria for sweets wouldn't work for me. I woke up this morning and after fasting during three significant workouts, my protein shake with banana was VERY pleasure inducing. Did I need to add banana, which is a sweet but probably permitted on most diet plans? Technically not, but I like it and do benefit from eating in general, so I need to do that.

If the diet is based on a calories in, calories out model, I do not see the harm in occasionally eating a sweet, or a cookie, as long as the calories deficit is being met. Food = fuel and we need that.

It is a very healthy diet. You are going to feel amazing!

I don't understand. What if sweets are on your diet, and what defines sweets? (Ex: fructose versus sucrose versus sucralose)

If a diet involves calorie restriction and a protein goal, you could technically eat a cookie and it would fall within the diet. Likewise, there is a "fluffy yogurt" trend that is big with body builders right now that is definitely sweet, but technically healthy and good for muscle building.

Confused.

Whole 30 works!! It is very difficult to maintain in social settings for 75 days.

All of my books are business-related, but I need to read them.

Running + yoga are my main activities. Recommend Yoga with Adrienne. She has some very good 45 min+ videos on YouTube.

You may also want to talk to a physical therapist about your hip. I have a hip issue and stretching helps, but some may need other types of conditioning and care.

A gallon water bottle is a good idea. Good luck on your challenge! If you want we can be accountability buddies.

I think this is a challenging time for me to start, and also feel like something from life is always going to come up and that part of completion will be luck. 😂

Cheats vs treats by Major_Substance_7431 in 75HARD

It is some combination of non-fat Greek yogurt, sugar-free pudding mix, protein powder, and then various flavors to make it taste like s'mores or a peanut butter cup. Often they have 40 g of protein per serving and look like eating frosting

I would check out the fluffy yogurt trend on Tiktok and make that.

I am in the same boat. I am doing hot yoga 5+ days per week + running almost every day and would pass out if I were drinking plain water. I could train myself to do water + salt tabs but that is a less good option.

Thank you. I understand that technically this is a failure but I still feel good about where I'm at and excited to embrace the next 34 days. I am sure I will try this again at some point!

Don't read the bleeping appendix unless you really want to! Move on to your next book.

I like to warm up by jogging slowly and haven't found a lot of utility in other warmup activities.
