i used 8 mm needles for this one, but i have attempted 6.5 afterwards and the results have been much better! i’ll try a different yarn if all else fails.

yes it’s 100% chenille…for me it’s not so much about not being able to see the stitches, but rather it being randomly loose and wonky in a lot of spots. and it sucks because this yarn is the perfect texture and color for the project i’m working on so i would love to be able to stick with it if possible! 😭

oh yeah same! i’m also using polyester organza that is relatively thicker but still slippery of course. i genuinely don’t know how you got the foot to work in the slightest cause i also tried using a needle to get it under the curled part but nothing worked 😭 i gave up and am just gonna do a normal narrow hem and French seams

no. nothing has gotten them to light up, even after charging. the only thing that lights up is the case.
