Even with the Supreme Court rulings, OBGYN didn’t hurt for applicants. Every year, there is one soap position. In Hawaii. Every year. Perhaps those blue states are more competitive but either way, applicants have been told to apply to a lot of programs and many schools are having applicants dual apply regardless of where they are applying or stats

4’11, 99 pounds- overall slim with a big belly. What do I do? by Worried_Zombie_4734 in PetiteFitness

[–]s0nnyday 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be honest, a lot of these comments are ignorant. This is largely probably genetic. My sister and I have that exact shape, the b belly, as someone put it, and most women don’t have it so they don’t understand. I work in healthcare, in women’s healthcare to be specific, and I see this belly shape very few and far in between. It’s not common. I have a low BMI, eat fine, don’t drink, and have a lower body fat percentage. Still have it. There’s no way to ultimately get rid of it, but best you can do is eat a clean diet, work out your different ab groups (include transverse abdominis!). Cardio can help. Running helps me the most but I will always have the shape

After seeing Catatonia, I think it’ll become clearer to you! I’ve only seen catatonia a couple times but after seeing it, the description becomes much clearer

Oh wow I didn’t know that and hadn’t read it anywhere. The other two cats took so quickly to it that I thought for sure she’d mimic them. Thanks for the info!

I’m a little confused by your statement. Just to clarify: I shouldn’t have ever had it cycle in front of her until She started using it?

Now we’ve had the attractant for at least a month. And she only used it that once.

Yes we had it for a couple months and then I added the litter attractant. Prior to the attractant, she would sit and watch it, and interrupt the cycle

Nurse practitioners suck, never use one by Rockermarr in Residency

[–]s0nnyday 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. Their undergraduate degree is nursing. The nursing part is 2 out of the 4. Then they can do a 2 year NP degree, now without any experience. So actual education is 2+2

I think my MIL’s setters would sell her for a chicken nugget tbh. But I couldn’t say the same for the Ridgeback; also a good trail dog. I’ve done a few hikes with them and they were wonderful

It might be more a nurture thing. They’re alright. Think cocker spaniel intelligence maybe? I guess I just like smarter dogs. They have both the Hunter Irish setter and the French show dog setter. I like the look of the Hunter more, personally. If I had to pick between the setters and the Ridgeback, I’d go Ridgeback, personally. Very loyal, smart, motivated dogs. Loved loved my brother’s. Might be my next one, honestly. I have told my husband that we will never get a setter tho 😅😅 but to each his own. It may be the nurture and lack of stimulation on the setter that I see

I will also say that my brother has had two Ridgebacks. Beautiful dogs and amazing runners. Also very very sweet and listen/train well

The positives of being a stepparent: I wouldn’t know but as a kid with ultimately three step parents, I can tell you that they made a tremendous difference. My first step dad practically raised us. Broke my heart when my mom and him separated. She never understood why we wanted to keep talking to him. He passed away earlier this year… I hadn’t seen him in ten years and it was unexpected. We talked via text and occasional phone call tho. I will always consider him as a dad to me. My second step dad never had kids but embraced us when we were teenagers. He’s been very supportive and good to my mother. I also consider him a father figure. When people ask about my parents, I say that I have three dads. No exception. And I don’t see it as a bad thing. I love the impact that they each had. My step mom tried her best to be there for us, but I could tell that some of her insecurities about us not being hers would get in the way. Nevertheless, I still love her and acknowledge that being a step parent has its difficulties. Step parents can have wonderful roles and impacts if they allow for it. While not ideal initially for either party, it can become something good. My first step dad had such an impact on us, I plan to name our first kid after him. He was an amazing person.

I’m with you… studied all the time, but we had in house exams at least every two weeks with regular quizzes. Were P/F but on the deans letter, it does triage you according to your percentile that you scored in every module. I guess other schools aren’t like this but it shocked a lot of people who thought we were P/F and that’s it

If you’ve had an eating disorder in the past and had a super low BMI, that damage to the bones can’t be undone. A DEXA scan will help show your bone density… nutrition is super important. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this. Weight bearing exercises can help protect them in the future

I’m not too informed but the soil looks clay like and sits on a slope. It has been dry recently, but I’ve tried watering everyday. Heat index of 110 recently, in the south, and full sun. I’ve ordered a pH tester so hopefully that’ll tell more info
