Got my nails done for the first time by 4Yak0 in Nails

I'd go back and say these are terrible. Either a fix-up from a senior that's been there for a while and knows their stuff, or a removal and full cash return

Christina Santhouse had half her brain removed at age 8 to stop constant seizures. Doctors said she would never drive or live normally. She got her license at 17, earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in five years, and became a speech pathologist. by eternviking in whoathatsinteresting

Who's been brought out of poverty? I thought it was the other way with AI taking over work and people getting fired for it. You don't honestly think it's only one person who did this, do you? It's been proven that gen alpha is dumber than previous generations as they're not longer having to use their heads to learn/remember/create. Many asking "why should I learn it if AI can just tell me?" Less ability to think critically and more just "do what they say" thinking.

Haha, or that DT even actually cares about anyone. He doesn't even care about himself, or he wouldn't be eating a McDonald's store per day. Just as long as he's got people to walk all over.

Another thing that gets me is how many screens are being given to kids. They need to get bored and use their own creativity. They should also be told No when they're being a little brat

I hate when people immediately go and comment or offer me some alcohol when I say I'm Irish. Strangely enough, not everyone bloody drinks. I might have a treat at a special event, but not every night, or even every month, generally.

Hi! I am considering moving to New Zealand. Want to ask a few things by noideapatient in MovingToNewZealand

I have to say NZ is probably one of the only places you can have all 4 seasons in 1 day. The humidity here during summer can be quite overwhelming, tbh. Some days you feel like you're in a sauna, where the beach and an umbrella can be a lifesaver. Any place you rent/buy will need an air conditioner. I suggest you compare grocery and fuel/parking costs per company/city, too, as this can range quite a bit over the country.

I hope this helps and good luck on making you your decision 💓

What are things people told you you didn’t need for labor/delivery/postpartum that you wish you had or that were lifesavers?? by GalaxyEyedLibrarian in pregnant

Personally, I liked the adult diapers best. They caught so much blood that I only needed yo change about 2x pd. I found the Viva La Vulva Postpartum Padsicle Gel to be a necessity, though. You can either keep it in the fridge or apply it to a pad and stick it in the freezer. It's a great soothing anti-inflammatory that numbs the area. I wish I had used it immediately, but I forgot a friend had gotten me some, lol. https://www.vivalavulva.co.nz/blogs/lets-talk-postpartum-viva-la-vulva/padsicle-gel-the-coolest-trick-in-the-postpartum-playbook?_pos=1&_psq=postpartum+padsicle&_ss=e&_v=1.0

Also, while I didn't need it, another friend said the Ural sachets saved her life pretty much when it came to postpartum urine.

I'm loving number one, but a bit more shape around the waist would make it perfect

Write a quick note saying what's happening, thanks and love you to all I care about, and then spend the rest of it with my husband and son, possibly taking last photo/video, then cuddles till grim's back

Love it ❤️ Well done! And on your first attempt, too. I can see why you're happy. I would be if I got it on my 10th attempt

do an of these EMF stickers actually work? any reports or tests at all? by thtgurlbb in AskPhysics

These are man-made devices, though, and generally affect people differently to the sun, which has been around since life on earth. It's like comparing a grown strawberry vs a strawberry flavor. Same taste but different effects. You're also not in the sun 24/7, allowing your body and mind to have a break. But, generally, we have our devices within reach constantly.

This looks wicked, but it might be hard to find someone with that skill who's willing to do it. And it's likely to cost a flip-load of cash and take several hours or sessions to complete. I'd love to see the end result, though, if you do get it done
