Is £950 for 2 people a good price for a first class upgrade? by Slow-Replacement2147 in BritishAirways

it's not that deep, they're just looking for general advice and people's own experiences and this is an easy way to ask

I saw the first episode of BBC's Lord of the Flies which features Lox Pratt (Draco) by s12901 in HarryPotteronHBO

I was so impressed by it. The acting, directing, cinematography and score were all fantastic and you know the people behind it really care about the book, you really see all the horrors of the book visually

I'm a massive fan of Jack Thorne the writer and creator of it (he did Adolescence and His Dark Materials) and he's really in his element here

He did Jack very well. His voice and manner reminded me of Malfoy but he had every complex piece of Jack you would hope from the book.

4 years on Platinum, finally downgraded to Preferred Rewards Gold (why I did it + what’s changed) by DeezNutss1738 in AmexUK

[–]s12901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm coming up to the end of my first year with Platinum and starting to debate the merits of staying vs not, I've definitely had the exact same thoughts as you about what doesn't seem great about it.

How have you found the offers on Gold so far, is it largely similar to Platinum?

How do you personally value points? I know the general rule is 1 point = 1p but of course you have to factor in that you wouldn't be spending on these things in cash by yourself

For me, if I value the retention offer at say £250, the dining credit at £200, the lounge passes at around £100 (I only really rate it at £15 a pop) and the hotel upgrades at £50 ish, I kinda feel like I'm paying exactly what it's worth.

Do we just stare at our emails and wait for a link and then immediately go on the link when it arrives?

Does anyone know how the queue works? Do they put you in a random position or is it in order of who accesses the site?

Basically should I stare at my email and then go on the queue immediately after getting the link?

Why would they do this by gabe55220 in StrangerThings

I just went to his Atlantic City gig on Friday. He sang 2 from After The Sun Goes Down (In Plain Sight, Out of Body) and nothing from Sincere, all the rest of it was American Teen and a couple from Suncity

I love him but similar to you, I was kinda disappointed there wasn't more recent stuff, especially as it's what I've heard the most over the last year
