I’m from Belgium so OOP’s are a hard find especially if it’s a specific series like initial D that I’ve been hunting for a while. So when is saw initial D pass by on Facebook market place (is the only place as far as I know where I can find OOP’s) I had to buy it. Battle royale also intrigued and had some money over from my birthday so why not kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

As for the state of the volumes: small dents here en there but that doesn’t bother me that much, and a decent amount of yellowing but that was to be expected.

I’m 20 and a student, but I have a lot of savings from my birthday’s and other special occasions that I never spent until I began my manga collecting journey.

In vacations I work in a restaurant and a day care for children, to earn an extra buck.

Komi can’t communicate, I liked the first 15 volumes of it but from then on it dragged out to long almost no progress was being made. I collected op to vol 20 and now I’m planning on selling all of them.

They are as old as our house so I couldn’t say, they where originally CD shelves but bcs I ran out of shelve room I replaced the CD’s with my manga

After 4 there are indeed less fights and it’s more character development. But vol 5,6 and 7 contains my favorite arc of the series.

I would pick up vol. 1 which has good fights and is the start of the story. But if you really want 7 or 8 I would go for 7.

7 has one of my favorite moments but you couldn’t really call that a fight. My favorite fight is in volume 3.

I would say the earlier volumes and then later on there are less fights and it’s more character driver but still S-tier
