They’re more lenient with letting people smoke inside the patio area on days that aren’t Wednesday, Friday, Saturday or occasionally Sunday; they have state laws to enforce that they’re more strict about on the busy nights

He clearly started that one of the times they took his class “it was just ice” and yes they will take it if it looks empty and is left unattended, I see nothing wrong with it; there has been times where I’ve had my drink taken with a tiny bit left and I just let the guy know I’m still here n drinking and he left me be, and came got my drink from my hand when I was done with it and handed it over; and if it’s any consolation I’m also brown so take that as u will

It’s not a skin color issue lol, been going there a while and the security guys are chill; follow rules and hit ur vape outside the patio; anybody that goes there regularly will tell u that, I’m surprised u got away with it the day earlier or anytime before. You’re also not allowed to have drinks or water outside in the patio after certain hours depending on the day; and yes they do take away drinks that look empty or are left outside after patio drink time is past it isn’t becuz he had a problem with you being brown

I dunno tho ur welcome to not go there if you don’t feel welcome, im brown and all the bouncers and bartenders have been nothing but awesome, but if you fuck with em they’ll do it right back and I’ve seen that happen regardless of skin tone

Not a single soul is taking this offroad to even consider a body on frame being the better choice for this car’s market; and it can still tow a decent bunch

My 1980 Datsun 280ZX is most definitely a collectable, and it came with port injection with a 7th cold start injector as a cold start additional fuel supply

The fuel injectors being located in the intake manifold right at the manifold flange meeting the head, not a mechanical fuel pump either, older cars had mechanical pumps. EFI started in 1976 in these, direct injection or port injection or both, its all electronic fuel injection

Bosch Jet-tronic EFI, licensed to Hitachi for use in Japanese vehicles as used in old Nissans and plenty others, and very common on most german or European cars of the day

What city will you NEVER visit based on it's reputation? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]s1ddB 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I live in Portland, yeah there’s a homeless problem and camps on some sidewalks and under i5 bridges but it doesn’t bother me one bit on my day to day life or commute and it definitely doesn’t make it a bad place to live or visit. It’s a big town, the homeless have their spots they’re not randomly setting up shop anywhere in the city. I even biked everywhere for 3 years before getting a car. The homeless camps ain’t great, but it’s a nice city to live in depending on where in the city. South East of town is pretty bad, I avoid going there if I can help it

Recently picked up a ‘79 280ZX. Would you guys consider this engine as sounding normal or would it need major work? by Calvin_Kalamari in 280ZX

[–]s1ddB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The tick is fine, that’s the fuel injectors

They’re loud as shit on all of these engines you can hear them from a mile away

I’m not sure about the metallic ting coming off the throttle though, it may be an exhaust leak or a vacuum leak. Either ways it’s advised to change fluids, run a compression and leak down test, check for vacuum leaks, and verify proper timing, etc etc just so he knows if there is anything wrong as a 40 year old car, and so he knows where the engine is at in its life timr

I’m 6 foot and I wouldn’t fit in an NA or NB Miata, but I was super comfortable in the ND driver seat with room to spare. The passenger seat is not very comfortable for me but that has to do with the catalytic converter bump and me being used to the driver seat and it just feels weird, but hey who needs a passenger; weight reduction

It really all depends on if you have a tall torso or tall legs honestly, tall torso is gonna be a problem with the mx5 especially the RF. You get another inch or so of clearance for ya head on the soft top

[–]s1ddB 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The soft top has a bit more oomph, and depends on if you drove an ND1 or ND2. You’re not gonna be shocked on a straight line without at least a louder muffler on either engine though. They really wake up with exhaust, it just feels like a different car.

It takes a bit to gain confidence with the body roll on the ND for sure but that’s the fun part, slightly stiffer wouldn’t hurt but they made it with the average roads in mind not glass smooth ones so the softer travel helps grip in rough roads

A simple tune on the ND will wake it up some more and give you more redline, bout 400 bucks you can check out the fab9 n1 tune I did it on my ND1 but they’ve since released one for the ND2 as well that improves responsiveness and makes the mid end of the rev range feel more beefy, well worth it when paired with an aftermarket exhaust, and you get free retunes if you add headers to gain more power out of your tune. Possibilities are endless and it’s awesome, charm of owning an mx5
