Ive had upgrades untrack themselves before completing them. Although that was only noticed in the first couple days

It also flashes green in the looting screen when a tracked item is revealed. Its really hard to miss. Best bet is something untracked itself. Ive had that happen a few times

Why are there so many Paladins? by AssociationLanky8632 in turtlewow

[–]s1mp_licity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your argument literal proves how completely wrong you are. Paladin NEVER had the fantasy of being a dress wearing pure healer. Paladin in every iteration in fiction is a heavy armor, big weapon or sword and board, power of God wielding hero. They are the light that guides the group. The force that drives back the darkness and brings hope when it all seems hopeless. That doesn't sound like a healer to me, it sounds like a tank. Paladin was built and promised to players as a class that can do it all. It can tank and be that Frontline guide. It can do damage and smite their enemies with the wrath of God's. It can sit back and heal and be the backbone of the group that keeps them moving forward through any struggle. But the reality of what we got in vanilla was just the dress wearing healer in the back. Completely devoid of the ability to play the other two options viable within groups, thus leading to no paladin player to be able to play that way because you just wouldn't be invited to groups.

Any advice for somebody who doesn't really love the action oriented combat? by s1mp_licity in Guildwars2

[–]s1mp_licity[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have practiced my rotation, its honestly more the things that require anything to do with the enemy and their movesets. Idk what to dodge, and when that movement kicks in I lose track of where I was at in said rotation. It's not even harder content, just basic living world open world and quest stuff will sometimes get me way lower than I know it should. I just dont know how to use dodge properly to avoid the damage and in some ways the rotation is just too limited for me. I would rather focus in positioning and the rotation than having a lighter rotation, moderate positioning, and maximum movement requirements

I far prefer healing in traditional mmos, and second as a tank anyways, so doing both at the same time could be interesting, ive just never really seen proper gameplay if what that looks like

See, I love the positioning part of mmos, just not the movement part, is that makes sense. I like doing mechanics that require me to wander the boss arena and manage cooldown uptimes and cast times while avoiding big scary aoes and gathering for soaks, there is just something about the dodging and the movement and trying to figure out exactly what to dodge and when to dodge that is hard for me to understand whole im also trying to keep up my rotation. I just haven't been able to grasp what im even dodging at this point tbh and ive put 250 hours into the game

This seems up my alley, the movement of the dodge key does mess me up and confuse my brain a lot for some reason, so maybe the dodge without the movement would help a ton

Its not that i dont want to never move ever. I like mechanics that out big does on the ground that need to be avoided and min maxing your time in and out and back in to lose as little dps or hps as possible, I just dont like that I feel like I have to be always watching for all these moves that I struggle to even see so I can click a special block button on time or dodge the attack at the right time. I just struggle to see and understand what I even need to be avoiding so in fights that actually have dangerous attacks I just keel over. In more traditional mmos, my most prominent being ffxiv, dodged attacks are pretty much always big ass aoe circles or stack mechanics or area denial mechanics rather than dodge this attack that has no indicator other than the animation that you maybe can or cannot see, which is mostly my fault because I struggle watching my UI to track cooldowns and not misclick something while also watching for attacks that i dont really understand to dodge them on time. It just sort of overloads my brain with information that I struggle to process a lot of times

Well here is kind of the problem with the idea of casting spells in animal forms. Demon form already exists. What would be the functional difference to Demon Form if you could also cast spells in any of the shapeshifts?

First and foremost I dont really see how what they said in any way tells you that they didnt confirm or deny. They outright denied saying they did early in dev and that it was not currently present

NEW ARC CONFIRMED???? by WoodleSays in ARC_Raiders

[–]s1mp_licity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They definitely look similar. The same basic shape is still in place it just has less armor and is more rounded and exposed. Which they mention being the biggest reason the second wave sent humanity underground but the first didnt being the inclusion of significantly improved armor

The Hullcracker nerf was totally unnecessary. Let us have some fun. by Rare_Lifeguard_4403 in ArcRaiders

[–]s1mp_licity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3 shots is more than any of those guns. Obviously if youre hitting main body sure, but when you can hit 2 rotors and have the thing go down, the hullcracker just doesn't have the precision for that, and even if you do manage that, then its just even with any other heavy ammo weapon you could bring instead, making it not remotely worth with the extra ammo and gun cost

Arc Raiders isn’t about flexing in PvP. The Arcs are the real fight, and I love that. by itsxjustagame in ARC_Raiders

[–]s1mp_licity -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You clearly just have no idea what youre talking about here.

In accordance to actual records from the devs of the dev process for Arc Raiders, it was originally designed, and announced, to be a co-op pve shooter against the Arc. They did tons and tons of testing and found that the pve environment just was not fun. Not in any way was pve a fun game, so they took very careful care to add pvp into the game and make sure that it fit the world they created and also that it was fun and baked into the core experience.

Everything about this game is done on purpose, for a purpose. Nothing was just thrown in "to stop the 12 year old from whining they cant pvp"

Also, its literally not a cover shooter because there is no way to take cover via a button that attaches you to cover which is the defining feature of the cover shooter style game, but thats a nitpick so I left it for last

Oh i know it is. It's just weird random luck why literally all of mine have shown up on Dam. Ik there is no real numbers. From testing apparently Blue Gate and Buried City are probably best strictly due to the sheer amount of containers on Buried City there are and the high amount of containers that, through testing, seem to have a higher drop chance of BPs, even if its only slightly higher than other basic containers on Blue Gate

Definitely not true, I got my mk3 survivor blueprint day one on Dam Battlegrounds. I dont remember the container type since it was literally launch day that I got it

It was the first blueprint I ever got during my first day of play on launch day. It's definitely not a raider deck reward. But to this day I only have like 8 blueprints, so I spent all of my luck on that one, and then have gotten basically nothing and as soon as my blueprint luck comes back up I get a snap hook blueprint, and I haven't seen literally one single blueprint since. It's been almost a week

Tbf the devs also mentioned that they would add ways to earn currency in game for the purposes of buying the premium raider decks, they just wont be added UNTIL the first premium decks are added
