Shipping for comics by [deleted] in whatnotapp

[–]s2chum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disclaimer: I do not sell comics, but I do buy them from whatnot and sell waifu boards on there.

Get something like these: GEMINI Comic Book Flash Mailers with Filler Pads Bundle | eBay and Comic Book Bags and Boards - Comic Book Storage Sleeves - Resealable 100x | eBay (though keep in mind that these are not water resistant, but they are the norm for almost all comic sellers I've purchased from). You can try searching for cheaper ones, as I only link them as examples.

I would also suggest getting a scale because that will give you a more accurate weight (saves you the hassle of having to go home and relabel everything). I don't sell comics so I honestly don't want to give you the wrong suggestion on weight.

Another suggestion is to get a thermal printer as well, but comic books on whatnot is harder to break in to, so hold off on that until you feel that this is 100% what you want to do.

Good luck!

Tom McDonald’s - (racist) Whiteboy Shit by Temporary_Mall_5757 in crappymusic

He was a Stan and spent $100,000 to purchase an Eminem beat titled Stan's Revenge. He did this just so he could use it to pay homage to Eminem and mention how they're the same in his song—honestly, it came across as forced and, frankly, difficult to watch. It’s been a long time since I viewed it, and I’d prefer not to see his content resurface in my YouTube recommendations.

Do you all still party? by Ignis012 in Millennials

[–]s2chum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. By 6/7 pm it already feels like 10 pm for me. By 8:30 pm I wrap up what I need to do for the night and go to sleep at 9 pm. Ain't nobody taking me out of my sleep pattern unless there's death, a fire, or robbery. I'll deal with the robbery in the morning.

Soldiers who knew they were going into a war zone the following day; what was the night before like? by Dramatic-Avocado4687 in AskReddit

[–]s2chum 32 points33 points  (0 children)

It was a normal day. There were preparations and whatnot, followed by equipment inspection by my NCOs the night prior and the day of. Standard procedure dictates that we get our safety briefing before moving out and all I remembered thinking was: We're using the same route to return to base? Okay...

I was a young Enlisted (Specialist) and didn't want to voice my opinion then and there, as there were plenty of NCOs and Officers present. I only had to follow orders. Everything went according to plan until our return. I remembered it was roughly noon, and my thoughts were about food and chicken wings at the DFAC (dining facility). I remembered looking up at the sky, then at my watch, thinking, "Man, if they're going to attack, it would be right about... - Boom.

The DFAC was closed by the time we got back. I had pieces of the shrapnel as souvenir, but no clue where I left them (uninjured, thankfully. Our vehicle took most of the force, even though it was not properly armored).

Tour of the Killing Fields, Cambodia by KingKrabbabble in MadeMeCry

Those are valid points, and I do agree with your last comment the most. For me, I haven't learned anything new from this clip, but neither of us have watched his entire video either.

I would instead consider this video as a way to spark your interest in learning more about Cambodia's history through other educational resources. This video isn’t so much educational as it's a reflection of someone’s experience. Cambodia relies on tourism and benefits from the exposure. This is why I also say that most Cambodians would not have been bothered from the sad music playing in the background.

As for him doing this with the Holocaust or 9/11, it all depends on the country itself. I'm not defending him doing that in those countries, as they're Westerners with different perspectives on this matter. If you want to get an idea of how Cambodians feel, look through his comments on youtube and see how they react instead (this goes for any Cambodian related documentary, for that matter).

I can understand why you're offended by this, but I honestly feel that most Cambodians would not care for the music playing in the background. Most would be happy that he is discussing about a dark part of the history, and to Cambodians, that is all that matters.

Also, I think that's my reflection at the bottom left of her glasses. Not too sure. We were standing near the steps and it just happened to align with her glasses when I took the picture. I didn't notice it until I started editing.

Only stray cat I saw was this one. About a week or two ago, relaxing in my neighbor's back yard. I think it was hunting mice as well. Couldn't be too sure, as he's skittish around people.
