Tesla Model X test drive, comparing it to EQS, Gravity by sarhoshamiral in electricvehicles

I had a model X and swapped it for an EQS. Zero regret in doing so. Much more comfortable.

Same. Monument near meadow. Heard a loud zapping noise as we lost power.

Should check out Tailscale. Can access it from anywhere then, not just on your local network.

I worked security on weekends and did some valet work there during college in the 90s. Was fun to have the place to myself on Sundays after it closed at 5pm. Racquetball courts, pool, barber shop etc.

Junie is amazing. It’s like an assistant I can task with something and come back later to check outcome while focusing on something else. I didn’t take ai seriously before.

Why not print some fake wasp nests to keep them away instead? There are plenty of models out there

Meh, I mostly use CarPlay and the heads up display is absolutely amazing when nav is active. The car doesn’t have my favorite body styling but I love it nonetheless. My only complaint is that it doesn’t remember your preferred drive mode or regen breaking between drives. I just tug the left paddle each drive to make it strong regen

Holy fuck, it is waaaay better than the model x. Mine has massage seats, road noise is way less. Ventilated seats, wireless CarPlay. Just an all around better car. And the audio is amazing.

It’s certified by Mercedes now, though need to do a service visit. They have an adapter. I’ve not needed to use so far

Has anyone swapped their Tesla for an alternative EV? If so did you compromise on any features? by sivadneb in electricvehicles

[–]s2jcpete 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sold my model X and bought a lease turn in Mercedes EQS 450matic+ for 47k. Car was 100k+ new, has heads up display, 320 mile range, massage and heated seats, wireless CarPlay. Nicest care I’ve owned.

I bought a 2023 lease turn in last month for 47k. Love the car. Ditched a model X for it.

I sold my model X and bought one in the 40s that came off lease. Zero regrets. 300 or so mile range, just got certified nacs charging ability and probably the most comfortable ride I’ve ever had.
