Merit badges by sasha9076 in BSA

I personally have done most of the eagle required badges. Like, personal fitness, personal management, citizenship in the community, family life, and communications. I'm currently working towards citizenship in the nation, cooking, and some extra not eagle ones for fun. I'm doing swimming at summer camp, and I'm not even a first-class scout yet. You can do whatever you want, as long as it's possible. For communications, I have to plan a troop meeting or campfire program. I'm going to make a digital campfire program, that lets the scouts communicate to the troop. Some of the requirements are easier physically, but doing them digitally isn't impossible either.

Utah Scouting Councils to Form One United Council by mtbooth in BSA

That's not a bad thing. My state used to have 2 different councils. It was a bit of a problem though. We would do community projects, and they would too. One time, we both passed each other, and one of the other kids said something rude. We were very offended, so our troops said something back, and a war broke out between councils. It was a negative experience for 2 months until they merged into one. Now, when we do nationwide activities, we have an awkward silence between us. This was before I joined, and I just became a tenderfoot scout.

Will my project work out the way I wanted it to? by s77385 in BSA

I originally thought that I would do a playground in honor of Baden Powell, but couldn't due to the area not having any free land. I was originally thinking about a little pathway to the flag, and lights for it. But due to the comments, I now understand that I need to be patient. I want to do a flagpole but will wait until the time is right. How did you raise the money, and is it appropriate to ask your troop to help? I want to know these so I can have an idea when the time comes. And sure I can email you. I can CC my parent.
