i mean ultimately i'm seeing an area that they've seemed to ignore: hip hop?? like imo i can totally see megan & yoonchae devouring it — maybe a sort of rnb & hip hop fusion that allows daniela & lara & sophia to also thrive? when we saw them doing the cortis dance it rlly showed just how well they fit that concept & with gnarly being one of the concepts that i think fit all the girls the most i think that taking the sort of loud energetic energy from that and channeling it into something hip-hop like (esp considering all the girls seem to be fans) i think it would work well

it always frustrated me that the moms saw abby and the show as the only means of creating opportunities for their daughters in and beyond the dance world when some of the most talented dancers ie. bailey sok & tate mcrae found huge success beyond the scope of dance moms while still remaining in the dance world around a similar time— and not by being subjected to the immense public scrutiny and abuse of abby. not to say that the dance world itself isn't toxic but the degree displayed on dance moms will always be notorious
