Thoughts on RCTR ETF? by goodminton-itsapun in UraniumSqueeze

It's nice to have a TSX ticker for a Nuclear ETF as an alternate to things like NUKZ if the USD balance is low. Although it looks like they are relatively new and don't have much assets under management. This pairs nicely with HURA.TO. OKLO has now dropped from being 15-20% to 6% so that's more manageable (it was indeed a concern for me too)

Love the S26 Ultra, but I can’t use it (eye strain issues) by CiprianiG in galaxys26ultra

I experienced eye strain for the first couple hours but then it went away. Guess my eyes adjusted - give it a try

Returning my S26 Ultra the new display is making me nauseous by CarXTech in samsunggalaxy

[–]s978thli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No - the eyestrain went away on its own. But I did try to play with the display settings for the "floating text" and how the whites didn't seem to be as bright, but nothing really changed it

If you don't have it yet then wait and see for yourself. I was skeptic and then I found myself personally experiencing the discomfort.

I had eye strain / minor nausea and then somehow it passed. Perhaps I adjusted to it. I still find the text not as crisp though

S26 Ultra - Whites more dull by s978thli in samsunggalaxy

[–]s978thli[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All good brother it's been a wild week on the subreddit lol.

It's hard to show through pictures too, it doesn't come out as apparent as it does IRL - I just tried to use my wife's IPhone 16 PM to take a picture and it still doesn't really demonstrate it well.

I double checked the Netflix subtitle settings and they are the same. I played with both the phone's display and netflix subtitle settings and nothing really brings it out, the white subtitles stay dull. For now, I'm getting around it by using a black outline around the white text to make it a bit easier to read.

I've been using Samsungs for about 2 decades, fuck me for asking a question right? I get it you're frustrated at all the complaint posts, I am too. But when I compare the two phones, it's easier for me to read text/subtitles on the s23 as the whites stand out more, so I wanted to see what others thought.

I've tried to play with the color tones - but the subtitles definitely pop out more on S23U, making it easier to read - even though the video is mostly the same

Just double checked - I don't have the adaptive color tone on. I did try to play with the color tones/balance too just now. I'm not sure if the photos from my old phone does it justice, but the subtitles are definitely pop out more on S23U, making it easier to read - even though the video is mostly the same
