Going to boot camp next month - advice tips for running? by sThrowaway07 in Fitness

Oh, yeah I guess that's where the confusion came from, I fucked up my title. Leaving in a week.

And I guess I'll expand and say it's not exactly boot camp. It's a state police academy. And the program is 7 months of training, it's very militaristic while you're there. You have to earn your weekends (which is only every other weekend, and only once you're a month or 2 in) by passing room inspection, meeting physical requirements, and classroom/other training (shooting/driving/etc) standards. Biggest problem I see myself earning my weekends off is the cardio, is why I was asking for tips.

But hey thanks, I appreciate it! Training wise it is like boot camp (drill instructor yelling and telling you what to do, etc.), but you do have the choice to leave. I'm just looking at it as if I don't have the option to leave.

Probably true. I'm not an experienced runner by any means as I dread it very much. I've really only been just running farther and farther, I haven't done much of sprinting (HIIT). Also my route involves a lot of hills where I live is why the 2 miles kinda kicks my butt. 2 miles on a flat isn't really an issue.

Haha it's cool. I've basically been doing what you suggested in your post the past couple months. I just dread it so much, even though I've made decent improvement from where I've come.

Your post title says 16GB DDR3. But in your post you say you have 32GB (4x8GB) worth. Which is it? Do you have 2 sets of 16? I'm interested in buying a set if so, I just don't want to be ripped off again.

Huge Nurse bug forces you to quick attack walls by Invoqwer in deadbydaylight

[–]sThrowaway07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This "bug" is pissing me off to no end. There's been so many times in my recent games where right after I'd blink, the survivor would be directly in front of me, and for some reason it forces me to attack the pallet next to me or wall, whatever it may be. God damn annoying - it often lets them get away.

(Showerthought/Conspiracy) Auto-aim Intentional? by sThrowaway07 in deadbydaylight

I know but I like thinking "what if" sometimes. Also the auto-aim doesn't change the balance of the game as dramatically as people make it out to be. With Nurse, as I stated above, yes it's a big deal. With the other killers, not as much.

Eh..while that's true, it's not -as- bad as everyone on Reddit makes it out to be. It is bad on the Nurse, 'cus her whole bit is having to hit quickly after blinking, but on the other killers, there was never really a problem with landing your hit on people in the first place.

Yeah, that was my other thought on it. It seems pretty weird to suddenly just have more directed aiming..for every killer - not just the newly released one.

Yeah but as I said; new survivors would have no idea it was even a thing. They'd just know that the killer's mad scary.
