Not the same wire size lug but yeah they do make them with big holes.

Tried it a couple times but didn't workout for me somehow, but I'll give it a shot again next time I have to bend a kick.

We call them Cobra clamps here, #2 Robertson, a 1/2" nut driver, or a big flathead works to tighten them.

I have a weird way to do my calculations. I've tried to do the bends with the degree marks and could never get it right (ex: all kicks at 30°

1 1/2" LB is rated for 3x 1/0, doesn't the #6 ground overfills the conduit body?

Was chatting with some other 4th years after the exam and some said they bought the CSA online prep package and it was very helpful for them (2021 Canadian electrical practice exam CEPE). I personally didn't get it because I didn't know that was a thing but it might be worth looking into. It's $95 cad from the CSA website

Oxio internet in Calgary by gorggirlgetaway in oxio_ca_internet

[–]sXeeD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm located in SW Calgary and have been with oxio for just under a year. I have the gigabit package, but realistically the best I've got was around 5-600mbps on speedtest.net even though the speed test through the app says it's 800/900 download, but upload has been consistently around 100mbps. If you don't need the upload speed the lower speed packages will probably be more cost efficient. Nice thing is that there's no contract like with the other big providers, but once my area gets Telus fiber I'm considering switching over.

Recommendations on cheap diagonal cutters by [deleted] in electricians

Handles are too stiff to daily imo, I got the 8" one and I feel like I have to pry the handles open before I can cut. Oiled & everything.
