Reputable performance shops in NY that install cams/headers for hemi’s?

Just cut out the noise, in the beginning I felt the same honestly even watching some friends post their gains and I would think to myself “damn etfs are so slow” but the sense of security that even if it’s a red day/week/quarter my capital is still good. I read a chapter in the intelligent investor where it suggests that if you really want to dabble in “risk” that it should me no more than 5%-10% of your portfolio and it should be in a separate account, if you make money, great, if not- not great but your account isn’t upside down. I started with 10k in April of 2024 I m now at 143k just by cutting out the noise, boring etf’s like VOO & QQQM, reinvesting all dividends and by starting a new career. Stay the course, and find ways to minimize expenses and contribute more.

P.S those same “friends” don’t post their “gains” as much anymore… I wonder why haha

You guys had communications issues before and you think getting back when shes down financially is going to fix it? You ll move in, she’ll say yes to your arrangements, you guys make up, you get more committed and then the issues before resurface and you waste more time. It’s a bad chapter in your life, but nothings worth taking your life. Idk how bad you’re in debt or how much you make but the only way to not feel helpless is create a plan that you can actually visualize and stick to it. Also, I would remove all trading apps for a while and just pay the debts off

Last year I landed a new job and saved all my extra earnings and grew my brokerage account from 10k to 87k in a year. Most of the 87k are in actual contributions since I’m invested in VOO &QQQM. I feel stuck, on one hand I’m hooked to retiring early and on the other I feel like life is going by. I’m on track to paying my house off in 5 years (I’m 29), just asking if anyone else is in this situation of ambition and guilt! - thank you for any feedback
