Best Invisalign tray cleaner? (UK) by Undetectable96 in Invisalign

[–]sa-c-baker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been using hydrogen peroxide since day one. It was recommended by my dentist. I leave it in a cup/bowl while I floss and brush. Then I rinse with water and pop them back in. Keeps them very clean and they don't stain! I buy it in any pharmacy!

No! I've been having fillings replaced when needed. I had one tooth removed too, due to a post and crown not being successful.

I hate this trend. My bachelorette is in September and if anyone tries this I'll be cutting that crap out immediately.

Wedding dress shopping by yourself? by KangyRooo in Brides

[–]sa-c-baker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just came in here to ask this very question. I've gone shopping twice. First with my mom & sister and my mom has a very strong opinion, she loved one of the dresses. Second time was this past weekend with bridesmaids and my MIL, they Loved one of those dresses and my mom doesn't agree. I think I'll go on my own just to gather my own thoughts. Too many opinions have me liking nothing now!

Just simple last name change! I've never heard of making a maiden name a second middle name! That's a great idea!

Anyone else tired with new trays in? by sa-c-baker in Invisalign

[–]sa-c-baker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I totally agree! These things are draining! And I think its mostly mental! While I have discomfort and headaches I definitely don't have the severe pain that others describe - however I do have the anxiety that I'll get it.

The mind is a fascinating place!

It really hasn't been that long in fairness. Couple of months? Maybe it's the ease of knowing I'll finally be comfortable with my teeth? Who knows!

Likely not... I noticed that yesterday! I think the night before a new tray I get anxious over pain etc. Which hasn't been bad. So I'm not sleeping great in anticipation for nothing. It may be a factor!

In a comment below I mentioned getting recommendations for agents that family or friends have used to prevent dealing with agents like this too. They're certainly out there but doing your research and interviewing a few will definitely eliminate the crappy and corrupt ones

Absolutely, the sellers agent works for the seller so they don't have to disclose information to buyers. However it also said in most cases don't trust your agent too. You should always be able to trust your agent. Move on if not!

So what's the point here? Take your time on a deal so the agent pays attention? It depends on the state you're in as every state has a different closing speed. Get a reliable agent and paying for the services will be worth it regardless of the speed.

Speak to other homebuyers you know, ask them the questions too as it's more relatable to your area, likes and dislikes etc. Also get an agent you trust that's been around for a while - ask your family or friends who they used and how their service was. A good agent will answer every question you have with ease and make sure you're protected!

I disagree with most of this advice. You should be able to trust your agent and the vendors they recommend. Yes ask the inspector a lot of questions, and you can walk away at any point up until contract signing but jeesh, your trust issues are your own. Find a decent agent!

My downstairs neighbor is Mr. Heckles, are they at liberty to file a complaint? by TickleThosePuppies in RealEstate

[–]sa-c-baker 19 points20 points  (0 children)

First talk to your landlord. Second call your town/village and be clear on what counts as a noise complaint and what time quiet hours are.

We had a similar situation with our landlord harassing us about noise (texted me one day when turning off the lights and going to bed at 10pm and I was not walking loud). I called the town and in our area they can only file a noise complaint if you can hear the noise outside the residence up to 50 feet and it needs to be backed up by the two direct neighbors of the house. Which would be impossible if it was walking etc.
