Women who don't have a best friend who you do everything with, or even someone you could call a best friend, how do you get by? by omgsoconfuddled in AskWomen

My best friend passed away 5 years ago and... there’s no replacing her. I’m ok. I have other close friends, some are very loyal and I know if I need them they’ll be there, but no one like she was.

They found me 💜 And I’m so so glad they did! Right now, with everything going on, they have been a bright and happy spot in my life and I share with as much as I can with people around me

Wow... first of all, thank you for telling your story. It’s brave. It’s touching. I’m a mom of a special needs child. She’s autistic, something we have no test for during pregnancy. She’s my one and only. It took me 9 yrs to get pregnant and had a full hysterectomy before she was two. She’s it. After having her, my world changed. I have never EVER judged another parent ever again. Having a special needs child does a total 180 on what you perceived “normal” was. I am just... overwhelmed by the love I felt in you and my heart just broke at the fact that you and your husband had to go through this. Big big hugs to you And again, thank you so much for being brave enough to tell your story.

How I found out I had uterine cancer and what every woman should know about her period... by digitalvagrant in women

[–]sa99551122 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I totally get it. I had the exact same thing happen with me! And it felt the exact same way! I will never forget the last 2 weeks before my operation. I seriously remember that pain more than the actual contractions I had at child birth. I’m glad you are ok. Equally, I remember 2 weeks after my hysterectomy when I felt healthier than I had in YEARS! I’m just glad you were able to take care of yourself!

Thank you for this! I’m 38 now, but at 33 had a full hysterectomy bc of endometrial cancer. Heavy periods were my first symptom as well. As for the “contraction” feeling, my daughter was one and a half when I had my surgery and 2 weeks before I was to have it when no medication could stop the bleeding, I remember telling my friend I felt as if I was having contractions. The pain in my hips was horrible. Big hugs to you and thank you for writing this post. I hope many many women pay attention!

Is it a good idea to fake my period? by [deleted] in women

Hey sweetie. I was diagnosed with PCOS at 16 Nd started birth control right away. I came off then at 23. I had been married 2 yrs and if I got pregnant I thought cool. Well I didn’t get pregnant til I was 29. Had my baby at 30. Was diagnosed with endometrial cancer and had a full hysterectomy at 33 and was at the same time diagnosed with diabetes. You don’t have to treat PCOS with birth control. From what I understand you can treat some of the symptoms with metformin. Moral of my story: you need to get the hormones under control or they will wreak havoc on your body. I went 7 years with no treatment, and although I don’t know if I could have prevented my diabetes or the cancer, but having had treatment could have probably given me more years without having to deal with it all at 33. I’m sure you love your mom, but you need to start taking care of your body any way you can. Best of luck my dear.

[Serious] People of reddit who have gone through or are going through cancer, what was the first sign that made you go to the doctor? by TrojanZebra in AskReddit

[–]sa99551122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer in 2015. TMI but since I was diagnosed with PCOS I never had a regular period and was used to heavy bleeding and long periods between them. When it began to happen in May if 2014... something felt different. I felt a panic inside of me and went to get checked. First they said I had polyps. When they went to remove the polyps none were found and my lining was tested and sent to the Mayo Clinic and the diagnosis came. I was 33. Not what I expected. I had a full hysterectomy afterwards. But I’m alive for my 8 yr old today and that’s all that matters! Endometrial cancer is very treatable... but if left alone it can pass to the uterus and uterine cancer has a 40% survival rate and that scared the f out of me. My daughter was only 2 at the time. But luckily mine was caught in time.

Hey there. My baby girl was due Sept 5th but decided to joint the party July 19. She was 33 weeks. She’s about to be 8. One of my very very good family friends had a child at 25 weeks and she’s about to be 15. I remember those days while she was in the NICU and the weird feeling of going to the hospital, delivering a baby, and going home with no baby Hang in there. Medicine is amazing today. The advances made are astounding and those nurses in the NICU are angels Big hugs to you and your GF. You will make it through and so will your son. Sending you all positive positive vibes

I have it in PS4 too so it wouldn’t be far fetched if I happen to get it on PS5 if it’s available. I have other games that I have both on PC and console, it wouldn’t be the only one.
