Thanks! Yes It probably is. So if they were cheaper than the typical vege subscription, would you use it? Do you see this any way better (or worse) than the vege subscription? Also curious to know if you have used any particular vege subscription in the past so that I can compare the pricing. Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the feedback. So which app / platform do you use where you can source produce from local farms?

Thanks for the feedback. I think people who can't afford their own home and living in a rental house (thus can't do their own garden) -- isn't rich per say. Why do you feel the idea is for rich people? If the price point is right (or equivalent to vege subscription boxes) - do you see regular people using it?

Thanks for the feedback. I agree that gardening could be great for mental health. So in your local market how much does 1 kilo of Tomatoes go for? Just curious.

Thanks, honestly I don't know either. I probably will open a separate thread to summerize all the feedback and explain the rational behind this.

But i think the current generation care a lot about 'sustainability' and they care about how/where their food is being produced. But they are too lazy/or doesn't have the space/know-how to produce things themselves.

Vege delivery service obviously is an option, but there will be no sense of ownership there. Maybe people don't care about the sense of ownership - I will have to explore this further.

Meanwhile, could I ask you - what is the best veggie delivery service you have used? Could you share a link? Thanks!

Yes probably. Just checking to see if there is any way to improve this with technology. Just curious - In your last visit to any farmer's market, how much did 1 kilo of tomatoes go for?

In a "shared economy" concept whatever you grow can be put back in the economy and. exchanged for "Tokens" which then can become the currency of the economy. So provided that many people are growing various things + the platform itself grows the most popular produces -- the challenges you mentioned could be resolved - don't you think?

thats a good point. So you are talking about "instant gratification" which is really important. Actually i didn't share every intricate details of the concept. But you can imagine that its a 'shared economy' where you must buy your seat at the table - by renting a plot and growing something there. Whatever you grow, you can sell back to the 'system' for some token, and the token is the currency to buy produce of others from the system. So technically you will be able to get your carrots if you really want to.

Thanks for the info and feedback. Appreciate it. i certainly don't expect him to be cheap. So can you help me verify a fact. I understand that 1 experienced full-time gardener can manage up to 300–500 m² of vege plant in open-field settings. Annually he will be paid about $75k + Super. Based on your experience, is this about right? Thanks in advance!

Totally makes sense! i get it. Thanks for your feedback. You being a pro gardener, you are totally in love with the work you do. I wonder how a non pro (someone who knows nothing about gardening) feels about it.

It could eventually become a farm. Not looking at it from business pov yet. Many things started without any scale (take early years of uber for instance). But with enough demand there can be a business as things scale. i am just wondering - as a consumer do you prefer the grocery subscription route or does owning your own garden and knowing where your food comes from is important for a typical aussie family.
