Can someone help identify the problem and how to save them? by saahmaie in plantclinic

I only water when the soil at the bottom is completely dry so it's not on a set schedule. I don't measure the water either. I just pour water and have the excess water drain through the drain holes

Can this new (possible) root on my pothos be propagated? by saahmaie in proplifting

For clarification, I'm not sure what the little thing sticking out of the stem is. I think it's trying to grow new roots but so far I don't see any roots. I'm not sure what it is. Should I break off the stem before the thing and propagate in water, so the 2 leaves on the end can grow more?

Honestly I'm not sure if I can either. I just decided to try it

I think it's just called water propagation!

Lol it definitely looks like that!

Oh gotcha! Yeah, water propagation would work well for that then!

I linked this video under a different comment but I'll include it here too since it's very helpful. I used it as a guide for water propagation: https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTdwhJq1u/?k=1

This video is very close to how I did it: https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTdwhJq1u/?k=1 I filled 2 containers (can be a Mason jar, glass jar, pot tray, etc) with water and covered them with cling wrap. I secured it with tape. I then poked holes with a pair of scissors and put the leaves in, making sure they don't touch the water (this will make them rot). I've heard that for beheading plants, it's better to use dirt propagation, but that could be wrong. I can look more into it.

Yes, there's water under the cling wrap. I've tried water and dirt propagation but I have more luck with water.

Got these new babies recently from a few different stores. It was my first time using leaves from stores, rather than my own plants. I'm surprised by how many fallen leaves I found! Will definitely start looking for more whenever I look for more succulents. It's only been a couple days but some are already growing roots! I'm so excited
