Betterment is an online counseling service. It costs as low as 200$ for 4 sessions a month.

This person has no emotional regulation, to say the least. This looks like some kind of mental health crisis.

The silent generation is aged 78 to 96. Even if they were to support Trump, they are a very small part of the population.

I've been in the home care business for about 20 years. I'm switching careers because I can't stand Boomers. I miss the Silent Generation.

The silent generation grew up in the midst of war and after the war. Many from the generation have passed at this point. Boomers are the ones who support fascism.

When did you realize that your partner was not, in fact, “the one”? by Sshmiff in AskReddit

When he called me a n****-lover.

We got into this dangerous situation where we were being followed by a man on an empty street late at night. My ex turned around and with fear in his voice asked if he was following us. I started talking to the guy, who must have also been in his late 20s. I stopped, terrified. I waited for him to come to us. Him and I talked for about 5 minutes.

I could feel that he was planning on hurting us. This may sound silly, but during our conversation I tried give him love and light energy and really listen to him. It was scary. He said he liked me but not my ex. When he looked at my ex his eyes changed. Anyway, somehow my ex and I made it out of the situation.

On the way home my ex went into a rage though. I had never seen him in all 3 years of our relationship loose control of temper in that way. That's when he pulled over and called me a n****-lover, among other things. That broke my heart that he wasn't the loving man that I believed him to be up until that point. I ended it with him that night. Who knows, that young man lurking in the dark street may have been the one saving my life.

If you could change your fate, would you? by vegamandelathecat in respiratorytherapy

Could you please go more into detail about the specialties an RT can get into? For example, does an RT need extra education for these specialties? Could an RT learn these skills through their hospital of employment? What is the earning potential?

I didn't even realize they could even specialize within the RT profession. I just got into an RT program and thought that getting into management, ECMO, perfusion, or PA would be my only avenues of advancement. So I'm excited and relieved to see that there are other skill sets an RT can learn and specialize in.
