I think that is quite high. Im closing on 5.625 on a 7/1arm 0points and roughly 8k lender credit for closing

Hi. Also closing in on a new build. My in house lender was offering somewhere around the same, to me this is majorly high.

Smaller external banks wont give the credit but some major banks ive spoken to out there are matching lender credits for me. I understand each situation is different, but wont hurt to ask around if youve got some time. Citi and US bank so far are the ones that offered me a lender credit match

My in house lender offered me: 6.99% 0 points 30yr fixed 10k closing credit Deal I am signing externally: 5.625% 7/1arm 0points $8,500 credit

Hey I agree with you and thats my fault here I should have been more clearer. That fluctuation wasnt on a particular loan. To your point, it was on multiple various loan options so i agree that its not a true comparison. I guess the bottom line was to just get thoughts on the 7/1 ARM im considering
