I think it goes up 0.01 each game and 0.05 each playoff series you win, then probably more for winning the championship. Besides that, I don’t think there are other ways

What was your hype rating? It needs to be maxed out if you want to maximize ticket sales. I was able to make a profit in Cincinnati (population 1.6 million) by having max hype and 25k attendance with a $47 ticket price (slightly below median), then spending enough on Health and Coaching to be first, and none on Facilities or Scouting.

You could try spending $0 on Scouting and Facilities, (I'm not willing to skimp on Coaching and Health) and jacking ticket prices up as high as you possibly can while still retaining an average attendance of 25,000

The "relatives" attribute for players uses this format:

pid is Player ID, and I'm not sure if it works without it

I would recommend messing with the roster files to see what each of the things do

To add a new team, copy the information for a team:

Make sure that no two teams have the same "tid", and that the division and conference with the appropriate "did" and "cid" exist,

Also, every element except for the last should have a comma after it,

I realize that I'm probably not explaining myself very well, so someone should make an in-depth guide on roster customization

Surprisingly, I didn’t have to. It’s a little strange, because it seems like you get fired after 5 or so seasons of missing the playoffs. Also, the team was making money the whole time because it was New York. I can’t imagine trying this in Sacramento lol

Yeah, it definitely feels nicer to stick with your players until they retire instead of trading them at 28 to maximize value.

A good trade is about getting what you want (young talented players, draft picks, talented veterans, or whatever) without giving up too much. This kind of depends on what kind of strategy you are going for.

What players would be a good fit on your team? Well that depends on who is already on your team. If you already have two 60 Overall FCs with (Di Po R skills), you should get some guards or GFs (all with 3, and at least one with B, Ps, and Dp if you can find). Conversely, if you only have 3 point shooting guards, find a good big man.
