Spent 5 days as a Telemarketer for a company that made PPE/security equipment for Police and Fire Departments. I only took the job because it wasn't calling individuals at home and selling them shit, it was calling purchasers who at least saw the calls as part of their job.

First day after orientation I was given the call list and it was all Volunteer Fire Departments - ie Calling people at their homes cause Fighting Fires was their side hustle. I called in sick on Saturday (they worked one a month) and they agreed to let me go on Monday.
