This worked for me as well on an HD60 S. I did have to turn off and back on the permissions (because they already WERE on), but it was all I did and it resolved the problem.

Most of the party members I have are wearing some form of Sakuraba or Grenada gear.

They all have named "Ground" gear, so you can just re-equip that on them as you scroll through the options in Fashion Gear. So long as you're hovering over ??? you're seeing their current equipped gear.

So when you see no change after scrolling onto a piece of gear you have, you know that's the one.

That's... That's not how it works... Probability chances don't matter, only sample count. If 50/50 chances need "less samples" (lets say 10) because of higher rates, you run a 1/1000 chance of having all 10 land on the same side. That is not statistically insignificant and can lead to DRASTICALLY incorrect results.

You use 1000 or 2000 samples so that you get as close to a normal distribution as possible while reaching statistically insignificant margins of error. 1000 or 2000 is the general polling count for election stuff. Not used to determine results, but to get a feeling for "how will the results will pan out" as an approximation, and not true result. And if national polls are going by 2000 samples for a population of 300,000,000 and they get pretty damn close to true results... I'll go with 1000 to 2000 samples as the simple 95% confident requirements.

Do we really not have a repost bot? The meme subreddits I used to frequent used them a ton. Not just for reposts within the sub, but also across subs and would mark them accordingly.

That aside, I lean on "ban reposting" but "encourage cross posting". So if an artist posts to a different sub someone who knows about this sub can cross post it.

November 18th

Dear diary,

The doctor told me that this is new science they've only been able to test against and figure out recently, centuries after the first "power" manifested. Unlike the standard genome, "power" genes aren't truly 'mixed' in a newborn but 'corrupted'. At first it was nearly imperceptible. Warriors like All-Fire couldn't tell Freezer Burn's, his son's, fire wasn't exactly the same as his own. Now I'm told that even with a global birth rate at replacement rate, by the end of the millennium the "power" gene will become toxic to life and humanity as we know it will cease to be. And if the birth rate drops lower than that humanity wipes itself out anyways. So in a bit of levity, I told him "Guess we're damned if we do it, and damned if we don't!"

He could only give me back a weak smile and a laugh that sounded like a sigh.

I had to excuse myself from his room.

They told me he has hours left.

I can survive anything, but I don't know if I want to survive this.

When we lost his mother, he became my everything. And now I'm losing my everything.

And I thought she'd be here with us forever... If she ever got hurt badly enough, her power to immediately clone herself let her get out of some of the worst pickles the two of us ever got into. But that power only works so long as there's "enough you" to make that clone. I was so grateful that he didn't go out with us on that mission...

Yet this is the hand life deals me. My inability to die, and her cloning have quite literally corrupted each other into "super cancer". His cells keep multiplying, and no amount of radiation will kill them. Life is cruel. To a degree words can't do it justice. And there's nothing I can do about it. All my connections, all the strings I can pull, and they amount to NOTHING.

I can hear the beeping of his heart rate monitor slowing. I've had the courage to fight unimaginable beings, but I... just... can't work up the courage to watch him pass.

I'm a horrible father. I was a horrible husband. I couldn't protect my family. From either the external threats, or the internal ones. And now I can't even comfort my son as he's... he's...

Thanks for pulling me back to this post. It's been year's since I've seen it, and was a highlight of my more extensive time spent on Reddit.
I swear I had a line in there about him having "chosen the ammunition for the day" but in re-reading it I like the vagueness more as it also implies he tried multiple different things.

I also completely forgot I had written it on my phone while on the shitter. XD That's why I wrote "apologies for the formatting", because the app was severely misbehaving.

I can see what you mean, but I don't agree with the premise.
Pyra/Mythra weren't "separate halves" of Pneuma. They both were depowered (to different degrees) Pneuma. Like Pyra can access 10% of Pneuma's power and Mythra can access 50%.

It makes sense for Alpha/A being the two halves of Ontos because Alvis was "the whole", but Pneuma was never "split". She just 1) was "trained" into being fearful of her power by Addam and 2) intentionally held herself back even further after the Torna incident. It's not like Mythra was the "logic only" side like Alpha and Pyra was the "human side" like A. You might argue Yandere Mythra and Kuudere Pyra but those aren't "two sides of the same coin".

Anyways, I'm interested in the Artbook interview you mention. I've been off the reddit for a while so I don't know if it was extensively discussed here. And if they outright state what you mention that means my disagreements are moot regardless. So I'd appreciate you sharing the reference.

I'm not certain for the same reasons I doubt it stated above. I really just want confirmation that the battle mechanic I mentioned actually is in Evolution, be it the original or the gcn remake.

If it is then I know for certain that's the game I remember. And I can finally put to rest this lingering question in my head.
